It is awesome that you guys are rating your amps @ 12 volts, which is around what most people will be seeing.
Very impressed with the new SALT line of amplifiers. They have all been great on the Dyno, and I'm digging the new design. Good job Sundown. Looks like I'll be saving up for an Salt 8k and a few new subwoofers.

I just want to say that I am extremely proud of Sundown Audio.
Hands down Best Equipment on the market.
My cousin was running for dd15 and switched them out for 2 sundown u15's and wanting to get two more. The clean clear sound is unbeatable and now that you have this Beast it eliminates having a stack of amps in the back. I've been a car stereo Enthusiast since I was 14 and I am now 41 and believe me when I say Sundown Audio is the best.
A little pricey but you've have to pay good money for good quality.
What model DDs was he running and what power that makes a big difference I love both but if I had to choose unlimited cash I would easily pick DD higher end subs and Z amps if not older Z2B or Z2C series put out I little more than this sundown salt 12

Nice ,the gut shot and power output are very similar to an Orion 17K , but that bass knob is awesome, not like the cheap plastic one I have

I think it is enough of SALT amp dynos, and time for some SALT amp prices. And thanks for clearing up the 12 volt talk. Some think that these amps are underrated to market sales, but I've yet see any comments on these amps being 12 volt guaranteed power output

It goes without saying how Awesome the power is, but my favorite part is the physical SIZE of the amp. It reminds me of old school monsters like the U.S. Amps VLX - 400, etc. I'm 47 and clearly remember all the old school gear, and I miss it, lol.
I don't, clean wattage is cheaper and has higher RMS ratings. You'd be crazy to actually think 90s amps that weren't top of the line Are good
i never had sundown in my s10 blazer but in like 2009/2010 did have a single 18inch fi btl around when it was made and a usamps 3k watt amp. may have to get a blazer again and try a build like this with sundown

man i love Sundown Audio but my subs got stolen had 2 x15s and someone broke in my van and stole my subs had box bolted down but they just unscrewed the subs and took them. So no more bump for me cant afford to buy new stuff. but when and if i buy again im going with SUNDOWN AUDIO again, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS UR KILLING IT OUT HERE!!!!!!!

Random question...will you lose voltage efficiancy if you dont run amplifiers at the end of your battery/cap bank ex.( 3 batts and 1 cap bank..put all amps on cap bank which is last in line)?

Actually you're smoking crack. JL has a long history of sound quality not just china made harsh sounding junk. Completely different playing music verses spiking inputs with 12 volts just to make sound.

How much power at .5 ohm? I run the 7500 at .5 all day. I run 4 ZV5 on it at 14 volts. It’s loud and pretty deep. I know you don’t recommend it but sundown amps are pretty tough.

I have a question why is it that the term lab is reading Higher AC voltage at 2 ohms then 1ohm but the amperage goes up much higher. Is that the common thing in amplifiers or specific to this series if you can answer? Great video

Th3Aggr3ssiv3 Cons3rvativ3 I’m not a fan of dual inputs, I have seen ALOT of them come loose and cause all sorts of issues. And some of them barely make any surface contact inside of the terminal. No thanks. There’s other brands with the same exact output section with 4 power and ground inputs.
