I do like these little challenges like the one amp and two sub limitation. I just saw the price of that Salt 12 and now I understand the nervousness. LOL. I'm that way with my $1k tweeters when someone wants a "loud" SQ demo......sweat'n BULLETS it tell ya! I think I'm gonna put some comp horns in for those days! LOL! Again, sir, 168+ is ludicrous....maybe even PLAID (Spaceballs reference)!!! Congrats and thanks for sharing this even though I'm late to the party.
Man this makes me wish I hooked up my salt 12k to my 3 nsv4 18s..still got it all but had to sell some audio stuff(batts n vehicle) to pay for my pops funeral..I'll get it done though my pops would have wanted me to finish my build..

This may be a stupid question but can the sundown sam-500D micro Amplifier be strapped at 2 ohms?
Have you tried orienting the subs differently or a flat baffle wall in place of tubes , this is a awesome channel my favorite for spl
He had tried it all tubes are the loudest where they are positioned
