Can't believe I found this video. I had called in the dedication for my cousin Amanda who was battling cancer. I was staying overnight at McMaster with her.
There is one and only Jewel - the angel of music. I love her so much and she has written some of my all time favorite songs. This song is soOooOoO beautiful.
Three weeks after a divorce I did not want; I had an accident in Oklahoma in 1997- I hit a long horn steer and broke my C-6 with a head injury. I "Came to" 7 weeks later. This is one of the three songs that go me thought! Thank you Jewel! I Love You.
@tashantx I feel ya. My mom was 46 also, died 2006, been 4 yrs may 18. This song always made me cry everytime I heard it weeks, months after she died. RIP to our moms !
this song makes me sad , my wife made me promise to play this song at her funeral. its a good song but its hard to listen to it now that she saied that.
I love Jewel. Her voice is just amazing. It can go from sounding angelic to angry to sad so easily. She far surpasses most of the other female singers that are "hot" lately.
@Aprilwritessongs Haha.. I get u really but Nah. I also think she has beeing blessed by God, u see, I respect u, but as a beliver, I know He has blessed us all with diferent gifts &/or talents. In her case, not jst her voice, but her sensitvity to wrte and project the message. I can´t sing like that and I´m blessed by God. The thing is tht as a beliver (as she totally is), the more one surrender to him, the more he works towards oneself. But I agree, hard work is necessary to develop any talent.
