Hi Erik, great lessons as always thx!!! 🙏 From someone who never bothered with rudiments as I didn't see the point when I was a young drummer, perhaps start these tutorials with the tasty stuff one can do with the rudiment so folk will see the value (extreme value!!) in learning it. I’m 42 trying to learn drums for the first time, Always had crippling dyslexia, slowly teaching myself a rudiments has been the therapy I have always needed but never knew. your content is gold, for whatever reason your way of explaining is easier for me than most of the other online instructors. thank you!
It’s weird that I never knew how to do a 6-stroke roll in a normal 4th/8th note measure until now, but would instinctively do it in a triplet feel every time.
