When my Mom died in 2005, I was devastated. I cried and cried. We just all thought we would have her on up into our older years. It got better after around the 2nd year but you never stop missing them. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven!
Always thankful. I just love momma Joyce. She may not be on earth anymore but she's very much alive, because to be apart from the body is to be present with the Lord. God is the God of the living not the dead. That sweet laugh is still happening. I'm just glad she left these videos behind. This is part of her legacy. Her love for Jesus and her family, and others are the biggest part of her legacy. It really doesn't matter what she cooks because the message is always Jesus is Lord. I love you Marshall thanks for sharing your mom with us all. ❤

Just to clarify, when she says cornmeal, she means self-rising cornmeal mix, right? Southerners tend to say cornmeal when they actually use a mix which contains cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt.
