I assume the commands entered after running debug are bios specific? Didn't work for Dell BIOS on a Latitude E6530.
This is more meant for pcs as laptops tend to use eeproms to store the bios, it doesn’t work on my laptop either

my pc does not recognize the pendrive with debug.exe. My BIOS is GPT UEFI
Make sure when using Rufus to select gpt and try different USB ports

If you cannot access the boot menu, you could disconnect all other drives to force the pc to boot from the USB

@@nohksie well I just finished trying it. 3 said that it has to be run in microsoft windows 2 said incorrect dos version. And I tried Freedos and MS dos

Hi ime trying to remove the bios password on a hp probook 6450b that i was given 5 years ago is the any chance of your advice pls 🙂
With laptops it's different sometimes, it's not possible to remove the password as explained in the video, you will need to modify the EEPROM i think.
@@nohksie manythanks for reply i was trying to do a complete fresh install of linux mint on it but it was blocked by the locked bios so installed a 1t hard drive fresh install of Windows 1st then was able to install linux mint as a dual boot system 👌 👍🏻
@@sprockylock391 you can boot from a usb using the boot menu, no bios needed, right?
also you can use a second hdd instead of a bootable USB drive, if you have a second slot.
or remove all drives and try to force device to boot from the usb.

@@nohksie You seem to have no clue what he is saying. He said secure boot is enables on his computer, thus he can't boot DOS because secure boot only allows to boot signed operating systems.

1. You have to disable secure boot first.
2. Don't use this trick, it is unsafe. Especially on modern computers that use UEFI and store their data in Flash memory. This trick is only for old computers and even there it is better to just remove the BIOS battery.
I see, then disable secure boot, boot from the usb, wipe the bios, enable secure boot, and boot from windows again

@@anshchoudhary3575 I don't know bro, maybe try physically replacing the cmos battery, but if that does not reset the password, im afraid your password is stored on the eeprom. and idk how to remove it
