this festival was made on a very specific and somehow remote location, where people dont have festivals as big as these. likely this was the festival in azores with the biggest names ever. it was a massive event in that place, so everybody went, and that means a lot of gen xers - who are for sure complaining that nothing happens in the island where they live. so you imagine how big it was for them to have concerts like these in their homeland. i like bush but being bush, papa roach or smash mouth you would always have them there. i mean if bush were going to play in my hometown it would be full even with a handful of people knowing the lyrics: but the whole town would be there.
