    Wow I wish I had seen this BEFORE I took my machine to the shop and they charged me $120 for a repair!! I probably could have fixed it myself... this video is literally a game changer. The game has been changed, and so has my entire life.

    I can’t believe it! I did the same thing you did. I took the bobbin top off and I can see the racer wasn’t turning so I took the bottom plate off. As I turn the wheel I can see where the pulley was turning but it wasn’t turning the bobbin racer. So I left it on my kitchen table for two weeks and I kept saying I need to look on line to see if I can find anything on a PE-150 and there you were! I took it twice to a sewing repair and they were going to charge me 170.00 the other 150.00 just to look at it! Thank you so much for posting. I appreciate you saving me the time and money. God bless you…. 7/12/2021 June from MS😊🤗

      Your very welcome. Please let me know what happened and if it really did work for you. I almost got rid of mine too but it was out of sight in a closet until my daughter found it and wanted to use it and that forced me to deal with it. I'm glad I did. Good luck to you.

    I had my machine working last weekend and then out of the blue I kept getting messages about upper or lower thread being cut. No threads were broken but under the fabric at the strike plate there was a wad of thread above and underneath the plate. I cut it and looked under the plate. There was no debris, dust or thread. I can't see anything that moved out of place. Now I'm getting the same message but the upper thread on the spool isn't moving and it's not picking up thread from underneath now either. Any ideas?

    Can you do more than one line of in embroidery on this machine

    • @saralilly1997
      @saralilly1997  2 года назад

      You can only program one line of text at a time. However, you can hit the Set button and then Layout and use the arrow s to adjust where you want your text to begin or reposition your fabric in the hoop.

    Can this machine embroider your own design for a logo? I’m looking for a machine that does just simple text and a pretty simple logo, single color. Thanks in advance for you help.

      Hi there, this machine does have the alphabet in a few different styles included. There are also embroidery cards that you can purchase. And yes you can embroider your own designs. To do this you will need a writable card , the Brother PED basic www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GTNEEO/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=A2Q68UWIYBBOMR&psc=1 and a digitizing software like SewArt or ibroidery that produces a PES file. Those will run you a little more than $200. I have researched this because i want to try my own designs as well however, i have not done that yet. Please let me know if you were successful.

    What kind of thread for the bobbin

    • @saralilly1997
      @saralilly1997  2 года назад

      I usually use the top thread in my bobbin, with no problem. But #60 - #90 synthetic thread is the recommendation.

    What about the timing ? how did you align it?

    • @saralilly1997
      @saralilly1997  3 года назад

      I didn't. I only tightened those two nuts and that got my machine working again.

    • @shaunmorrissey7313
      @shaunmorrissey7313 3 года назад

      Hi, thanks for replying, i think you got lucky because i just had a similar experience and after tightening everything the timing was out (needle hitting the race) but i found a service manual online and was able to set it correctly, she's back on top form again
