Ricordo perfettamente qel giorno. L'ho ascoltato in diretta su radio 1 ed è stata una grande emozione sentire la sua voce roca e profonda con dei tocchi di chitarra unici. Favoloso!!!!
You know that when songs are stripped down to voice and acoustic guitar and they still sound amazingly good, means that this is pure talent!! Unbeatable. Never imagined boom like that acoustic version… 😲😲😲🫠🫠🫠🫠💜💜

This one is such a beauty! Have to listen to it again and again. Somehow I like those simple versions of Devil Baby, All that Matters and Stand-up Guy even better than all the other recordings, studio/live. Just an accoustic and his voice, so ... can´t find the right words.
Here's the track list from what I can tell. Intro sounds like a theme based around Wild Theme from Local Hero Devil Baby from The Ragpicker's Dream Song for Sonny Liston from Shangri-La Back to Tupelo from Shangri-La All That Matters from Shangri-La Boom Like That from Shangri-La Stand Up Guy from Shangri-La
+lewis cook You might be surprised by some of the stuff they put on Radio 1. It's not all chart music 24/7. They have a rock/metal show that plays some atmospheric black metal that I really like. Although honestly I only listen to it when the bands themselves are advertising the fact that they are being featured. And again, they have evidently played Mr Knopfler at least once. Generally I'd agree with you about Radio 2, though - during the day it's pretty inoffensive and then you've got things like the folk show which are great. I do wish that my office had a radio to actually listen to these things. Our usual policy is that if you want to listen to something you should use headphones but I find that too distracting and I get no work done.
Thanks, but you sure it will not be deleted by youtube or someone else, cause i talked with another user, who had several songs from new MK album uploaded and very quickly most got deleted and they warned him (copyrights) that if he reuploads, he will be punished, with possible account termination or something similar etc.

When you hear a guy sing and play like that, you can see why he's famous.
damn... got thru the first song and decide I need to pick up the guitar and learn Devil Baby... loved that song and forgot about it.
Grande Mark specialmente quando è da solo con un microfono e una Martin. Zero effetti, solo lui e le sue canzoni.
Il numero 1 , e non solo dal punto vista artistico
Thanks ! I love the "Shangri la" album . Beautiful
Back to Tupelo is on its third consecutive play. Great tune.
Mi "Vicio Musical" Diario..!! Y como me DEJA de Optimista y ALEGRE.. GRACIAS MK.. desde CHILE 🇨🇱❤️💯🤗🤗🤗👍👍
Mark ❤❤❤❤👍
I think in the Intro he plays variations of the theme of heart of oak.
💙
Here's the track list from what I can tell.
Intro sounds like a theme based around Wild Theme from Local Hero
Devil Baby from The Ragpicker's Dream
Song for Sonny Liston from Shangri-La
Back to Tupelo from Shangri-La
All That Matters from Shangri-La
Boom Like That from Shangri-La
Stand Up Guy from Shangri-La
15:55 jajajajajaja! grande!
Yes I'm sure ;-)
Intro song is not wild theme, it's behind with the rent
My Eyes MY Eyes
Devil Baby from The Ragpicker's Dream.
i like it but its only a problem with a voice in the second song but it was short and he continued singing
knopfler on radio1? makes a change that they decent music on there. Normally radio2 with all the good stuff

Back to Tupelo !!!!!!
Intro song is not behind with the rent either. You can find it on the "golden demos", an instrumental unreleased song.
yes, You are right, but it reminds me to behind with the rent unplugged version,
It definitely has bits of Behind with the Rent and Matchstick Man in it, which I guess Mark poached for those songs later!
Why cannot download ?
What is the first song he sings? It's... peaceful
Devil baby
Can the translator not recall 20 seconds of speaking and then begin to translate it instead of speaking literally after every word?
..this guy can play ..:) ..
but I would like to listen sth like "on every street" acoustic (he play "too much blues" on this acoustic sessions ..
The translation is mildly infuriating...
The translation is really annoying.
Put up with it and you get to listen to some great music.
Ikr? I’d love to hear him only…..🙄
