- Mark Knopfler appeared as a guest on the Johnnie Walker show BBC Radio 2, London, UK to promote his new album Kill to get Crimson 16th September 2007. It includes a nice interview with Mark Knopfler who also plays two songs Let it all go & Secondary Waltz live in the studio on his Martin signature guitar. Great sound quality, total playing time is about 28 minutes.
A wonderful artist we don’t deserve. Thanks MK for everything.
I remember when I was about 13 years old and his voice, his style and charisma enchanted me... since then it has never been different!! Mark, you sing and I love it..I don't know how to explain it and I don't want to! ❤️🎸🇧🇷💃💥💯😘
My kind of guy! From the article quoting a grammar school headmaster: Goes his own way, rejects guidance, slippery path, wayward. I feel so connected to the man, artist, and stubborn individualist. I love him more than ever, if that's possible.
He's a remarkable person ..talented and seems genuinely nice. Doesn't get better than that!
I remember hearing this when it aired on the radio as i was driving to work, needless to say i pulled over, blasted the stereo in my car and went to work late.
How.. that woman Allison, remembering Mark having taught her english..
Then seeing him in future years become huge and tour the world.. thinking damn.
.. then over 30 years later just happening to listen to the Radio Show when Mark is on and getting to send through that message - hwich is then read to him.
Tears.
very good interview
I wish I could have seen and heard Mark with Gram Parsons ..
im hungarian and i see his looks are so so a like
I wish we could have heard Mark do Rave On as there are no recorded versions anywhere on youtube....I feel very cheated.
