@biscuthead123 hang on while I go looking for my vinyl copy of the "unconsciously screaming" ep that I bought in 1990 ;-) so yes, and they have improved...a lot! however, you wouldn`t really be able to tell from this version of "war pigs"!
@myoutboards I enjoyed the dark side of the moon covers... It wasen't only the lips who did it so maybe thats why... IDK i still liked it! GO LIPPSSSSS YEAH
@zivadrums its a triplet. two on tom, 3rd on bass, and you move around in that fasion. like tom tom bass tom tom bass tom tom bass. tri pul ett tri pul ett. 1 e a 2 e a 3 e a hopefully that answers your question
@Steevdallas Absolutely. The way the guitar tone is mixed is probably one of the worst choices possible. Their newer stuff has a similar issue. Aside from that I don't think Coyne's voice is suited to the song.
@TheBulletsQuitTheGun i was very lucky thats how! my Ex works on later and me and my mum got free tickets. when we showed up they asked us if we wanted to go on stage with them as a santa and an alien. MY MUM WAS THE ALIEN!!!! was a great day. got to meet the strokes and Plan-B and Raul Midon.
Those that say "as much as I love the flaming lips this is a painfully weak cover" do not understand what the Lips are all about. And as the great Zen Buddhist verse eloquently states: Those who know, do not tell; and those who tell, do not know.
sick cover. too bad the bassist didnt play it the original way( yes i know covers are not meant to be perfect copies just the original line is more complex)
Saw them last night in London. Funnest gig I've ever been too.
His voice is straining at some parts to sing this one. I fucking love it. Awesome cover
Gonna see these guys on December 11th in the Allstate Arena. Oh yeah, I have standing tix :)
This is so cool Black Sabbath is one of my all time favorite bands ever! :)

amazing, amazing, amazing... Wayne Coyne is such a genius... god bless him
I love this cover :)
Thanks, love this!

@snipelfritz he will be one of the other musos on the show. Raul Midon I think it is
@snipelfritz he was another performer that night on the show

He wears it as an homage to John Entwistle
Fairly straightforward cover version but the imagery is what they're saying by doing this.
Which is the name of the drums rhythm on 1:18?
@Steevdallas Absolutely. The way the guitar tone is mixed is probably one of the worst choices possible. Their newer stuff has a similar issue.

actually, for some reason, i can see billy corgan wearing that suit
c'mon this is great
@Hertsman50 I think your tickets to The Player Hater's Ball have been reserved.
4:05 The Strokes
both were formed in 1983 :-/
That guitar tone is nasty

Bass player definatly stole that suit from Flea.
2:01 Who the heck is this guy and what is he doing here?
haha i was the santa sat closest to the drummer!
Who 'stole' it from John Entwhistle. I think they just both like the Ox.
not even bad
This guy??? Show some respect man! He's Wayne Coyne...
They do it better than black sabbath. GO LIPS!
i can't believe i LIKED The Flaming Lips. My GOD that was a bad cover. They even omitted Luke's Wall (even in the "album version")

i bet they'd be good at the guitar hero version (i'm mostly kidding.....guitar is soo much cooler)
no one can compare to ozzy
christ, what effects is drozd running...vicious.
mickey-fickey? Wassat? :p
its a fact. wayne can't sing without confetti floating in his face!
the band sound ok but no solos, thats make it sad
not too bad but the guitarist needs a better sound
they rock ballrooms of mars better
the sound is terrible, i can't hear the bass drum
As much as I love the flaming lips this is a painfully weak cover.
This is silly.
Faith no More does it better.
The Jewish version.
This guy sings with no conviction whatsoever... lol
He is awfulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who would pay to see this crap!!!
Horrible!
