It's great to see people pushing these cars and having fun with them. The car is a track focused car and I would like to see what the benefits are with input temps during a track day. I'm not interested in straight line drag times in a track focused car. I would buy a GT 350 if I wanted to go fast in a straight line. BTW, for all you Honda bootlickers who hate on Hyundai: Honda is 15th in reliability these days and Hyundai is 10th, so those days of Hyundai being a cheap brand are over. These brands are all comperable and the way you maintain the vehicle is how it's gonna treat you unless something crazy happens.
A coworker of mine has an Audi S4, I want to say it's a 2014, with a stage 1 tune from APR for the ECU and TCU (~433hp, 364tq). My Elantra is stock and i know I'd get walked, but seeing how easy it is to get more power out of this car, I might have dig a little bit.
@ndriverkg104 I've put 6 gal of E85 and filled up with 93 and put my jb4 on #3 in Florida (brought 10 gal home)and geeze its nuts! The high flow cat downpipe (400cell) and 3in exhaust made a huge difference! It sucks we don't have it here in Connecticut
I was told on stage 1 that the ngk 8 range were fine. I even stressed what everyone says but he assured me it's fine. This is straight from the tuners mouth.
@ndriverkg104 true eh. Ya I may run them a bit more as they are brand new then switch out. They were out of stock when I got the ecu with tune. I don't push it hard at all or race that much. Appreciate the advice man! Always look forward to the vids
Only fuel volume, not fuel quality. WMI allows the tune to make a lot more cylinder pressure without detonation. The HPFP alone only allow for more boost before fuel cut over the 2GTE0 or stock HPFP. It will not decrease the tendency to knock under load.
I had a question, I’m buying a 2024 Elantra DCT, what are the first mods I should get, I’d like to have loudness and burbles, with efficiency & engine/overall vehicle health.
the lower motor mount or bushings for the motor mount is a must. If you get a tune, don't get the pop and bang upgrade if you are concerned about engine longevity. Intakes are pointless on these cars since they got it right OEM unless you just want cool sounds. The inlet may give better rthrottle response.
Depends reliability is dependent on if tune has safeties on because you can be running much cooler than stage 2 in stage 3 with wmi and have better afr and engine doesn't work as hard
370 -400 without upcoming tcu tuning i had 429 wtq but slipping i wouldnt recommend going to aggressive but sweet spots is 350-360 for dct no slips pulls harrd
I'm curious how Hyundai warranty deals with different mods. Tune, turbo, methanol. Pretty much the only reason I'm still stock for the moment. Typical dealer nonsense, "If you change anything, you void everything".
People need to stop with the “stage” labels.. so cringey… started in the Subaru days because of Cobb and their OTS maps labeled as “stage 1, 2, 3”.. everyone has a different set of parts on their cars.. is yours stage 3.1 because you added a better fuel pump? Or 3.2 with a better clutch? lol.. just install your parts and get your cars dyno tuned, then enjoy it! Nice car man!
Can I run full e85 or is there comparability for e85 sensor

@official_commanderhale965 i say get started hahaa get you a dp and wmi tune bam 380-400 whp
@@ndriverkg104 absolutely. With the weight difference I’d have him in a roll, but never from a dig.
This gives great info! I wish someone like you did this for our Sonata N line!
I actually will but im still waiting on ecu tuning for it
@ndriverkg104 I can understand that! With 8 injectors might be complicated
@davidjohnson8474 i know it literally set up like a audi motor

@davidjohnson8474 i bett its crazy how far it can go on just a jb4 watch when ecu comes out
Thanks KG, great content as usual

I have been there twice seeing stage 1 i would as a insurance get the range 9 it just insures smoothest wot

Great stuff got my a2b down pipe on the way
Im gonna need to hear it mann
Wmi also kills the need for a OCC setup! That's few hundred bucks right there
Love the content KG! How do you feel about catch cans? I notice you don’t run one. Thanks!
Its gonna be my next mod i need one
@@ndriverkg104 Say no more! Thx bro!
What’s your tire setup?!
What do you think of the boost pipe kit does it make a big diffrence?
Do you need water meth injection to get to 400 or with a bigger turbo on pump gas with the new high pressure fuel pump can you get to 400 as well
@joshuareyes8089 yes with the new hpfp thats coming we could see 380-400 on stock turbo without meth
@ndriverkg104 thank you for responding that's awesome to see
Will the new fuel pump from sxth and n75 technically get you to 370-400. Just replacing meth.

IC upgrade. That stock IC will not save you in a warmer temp. areas

Does each higher stage mean that there’s a higher chance of reliability being lower?

how much hp tq can the dct hold if you have any idea?

How did you fit the 265 tires?
No mods needed for it i even ran 275 last year
what wmi nozzle holder do you have? as in the charge pipe and 90 degree elbow?
@@SpeedResearchLabs #5 and snow nozzle holder
@@ndriverkg104 what i meant is what cold pipe pipe did you get to add the nozzle. I see you took the adapter you had on the silicone housing .

I just made a vid 2 weeks explaining everything you should know about warranty
Let's see the dyno. Water meth is old. E85 is the way.
Not for this platform
