This right here stage 1 is perfect for me, don't care for that much power like stage 2 or 3 I'll be happy with a stage 1. This is just the video I needed
I got a stage 1.5 tuned Lap 3 ECU and I make 320-340 whp with only HKS plugs and 93+ octane fuel. The gauges in the car estimate pulls of 350+ bhp consistently. I have seen numbers of 371 bhp at the track. BTW, I drive a technichal track and I don't think that power is helping me at the track. It makes the car harder to control. Where it shows up is in straightaway pulls. The Lap 3 tuned ECU has been great. Nothing plugged in to the ODB 2 port and it looks OEM and easy to reinstall the OEM ECU for warranty work. Plenty of options for tuning, I am happy with Lap 3 so far.
I have had the N75 stg1 tune (spare ecu) on my 23 DCT for a year and a half and it's great. No more Octane learning and I get 22 PSI even in normal mode so I don't have to even bother with the NGS anymore. Also gas mileage has not been reduced I can still get 40 MPG on the highway. A question for NDriverFmKG: do you know if the stage 1 tune is optimized for 93 octane?
I don't know if the 7K Redline makes the car any quicker or not but when I ordered my tune there was no extra charge for the 7K so I got it anyway. Back then I only paid $1,200 Canadian @@ethantalwalkar2652
Always the best videos about the Elantra N on RUclips. Very informative. If I order the EK1, which version should I get? I see Pro, Lite and Mini2. What are the differences?
Thank you for this awesome vid. Im actually looking in on a n75 ecu tune as we speak. There's a couple option in the website. Theres a calibration on spare and a ecu calibration regular. Need your help lol thank you. Oh forgot to mention i my vehicle is a 23 kona N
If you calibrate on a spare ECU you can “technically” keep the warranty on your car by just swapping back to your stock ecu. If you tune your stock ecu then the dealer can see that it’s tuned and “may” void your warranty. I have a 23 KN too 👊🏾
@FMateoVela ohhh... nice i shall be going with the spare lol. Yeah, im not going to lie i love that lil thang lol. Its been its been eating some RT's for dinner with the octane learning its pretty impressive 👌
Great video KG! Question for you. You're the first 6MT EN that I've seen from my own eyes succeed at octane learning on a stock car. I've been trying for a while and can't get it. I know the DCT guys have a way easier time with it but I just can't get on my 6MT. What is your method (pre stage 1 tune of course) of succeeding at octane learning? I tried the ones in the owner's manual but doesn't seem to work for me. Thanks in advance!

they have to prove that mods caused the problem but me personally i would just get a spare ecu so when ever something happens you’ll just swap the ecu’s and take it to the dealer
@devonaudibert1459 Me too. I have a modded 3.8 bk2 Genesis that I' enjoy, FBO, but i really wanna do the stage 1 on my Elantra N, I just don't wanna void that warranty. Car is quick as it is, but be nice to bypass that octane learning mess, and get more out of it, without having to add parts
@@ndriverkg104 I’m looking on the N75 site and the only options I see are for 22/23? Unless they are the same tune/ECU and it’s plug & play for the 24’s?
The 22-23 and the 24 Elantra N don't have many compatible parts. I own a 24 and other than CAI and oil separator are the only mods really available. The exhausts are not compatible... I've confirmed with both borla and mbrp.
@ndriverkg104 apparently just enough little things that parts like the exhausts, aren't compatible. It really sucks because as far as I have searched(and I work for a performance parts store in Canada) I can't find very many mods yet.

Nice …. High flow air filter also cheap and helps air flow without having to get the intake system.
Thanks KG, I needed this!
I like the paint job/wrap more than the tuning info.

Any idea if youd still be able to get warranty work done if you went with a spare and just swapped back to oem if needed?

How much would stage one stress the engine? Like just a catted downpipe and an N75 stage 1 tune would it reduce longevity much?

With the vn you can get the same results if you upgrade to the elantra n turbo, but the turbo is a must have
