@@gopherhockey100what’s lol is that your school is 5x our size has way way more money to throw around and yet we still have more national titles then you. What’s really lol is that you have 6 division one programs and between all 6 schools all of your titles add up to our ONE school. I will say though I truly wish we were still in the same conference. Best rivalry in college hockey. Love how intense those games were. Hatred tends to be a pretty big motivator lol
“Don’t want” damn near every one of our recruits was also recruited by Minnesota. As many Minnesota players were also recruited by UND. If we are getting the rejects keep sending em over. It seems to have brought us more of the only thing that matters which is national titles
@ when you consider the population difference it’s impressive how many home Grown guys we have. Got a couple from grand forks, Fargo etc. we have 780 thousand people in our state. Just the twin cities metro has 3.5 million. We do pretty well. And I will count the east grand forks and Moorhead kids too as most moved across the river for better hockey. The highschool hockey difference is night and day. I fully admit we don’t hold a candle to MN highschool hockey. Almost all our homegrown players that are D1 level talent play out of state. Some finish out highschool here then do a year or two juniors before D1 but not many
@ PS you guys are gonna love Gruba. Watched him play last year here in Fargo for the force. Exceptional talent. I didn’t realize that he dec omitted from St. Cloud and signed with UM until very recently
