West Point Class of 2014 here. Just wanted to say thank you for this. You did an excellent job honoring the academy and showcasing what makes it a special place.
Thank you for that! My dad (West Point class of 1960) played hockey there. I love the West Point Military Academy; I have many fond memories of the campus.
The USMA is an elite "and" school. Lots of places have tier 1 academics, but the institutions that really stand out are the ones that pair excellent academics with something else---in this case, service to one's country. May God continue to bless the Academy. Go Irish.
Watched them play the Maine Black Bears a couple of weeks ago, we were wondering about the history behind their program. Awesome interview. Thanks for there service 🇺🇸
What a great video, puts into perspective how small our sacrifices are as civilians. These men and women are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We should never take what we have for granted
Great piece. Love the military academies and their sports teams. I did Laugh at the captain Sacco leaving the kid hanging with the fist bump as he was talking about setting a good example.
Not the most beautiful facilities in comparison to other featured universities... But definitely the biggest bunch of beauties playing for this program. Thanks for your service, boys!
This is ace. I was in the British army for 13 years and even our mainstream sports don't get this kind of facility 😅. Even our Elite League teams haven't got anything like this. If I'm ever in the states I definitely need to catch a game here. So cool.
Many top college hockey programs have much bigger facilities in the United States. That stadium is considered small compared to the top college hockey schools like Boston College, Boston University, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, just to name just a few.
Great tribute! Also with the monkey bars, you can use less energy if you swing from arm to arm, bar to bar using your body, also get across them faster with greater momentum, instead reaching for one bar with one arm at a time and relocating the other arm to same bar after before going to next bar. Great job boys and thanks for the content!
I went to West Point for a hockey school. I was there for a week and we got to go on the ice go in the teams locker room and pay tribute to TK. TK’s son was there with me too.
What a beautiful episode, truly. You can honestly tell they will die for each other, wild. Grinnell on the other hand with the upper body strength of a 11 yr old girl tough look 😂 took it like a champ though
If I’m correct Coach Riley’s dad Jack Riley coached Herb Brooks and cut him from the Olympic National Team. They briefly mention Coach Riley in Miracle.
A thing I’m sure that all D1 players are told if you’re going into a game against Army: don’t make the game about physicality. The Black Knights win if that’s the case. I’m sure people can see why that’s the case from here.
Nice work Grinnell and crew. Thanks to all who serve
Why do you have to thank them? You're paying for them
Troops lol, bring these bois home!
This is a damn masterpiece. Well done Grinelli, the videographer and the editor.

Everyone loves to rip on Grinnelli but have to give credit where its due. He does a great job with this series.
when the main punching bag is out its next man up
As a hockey player and current military member this was a great segment fellas. I’m only halfway through it but love what I’m seeing.
one of the best series out there.

Love the strong emphasis on caring more for players as people rather than as just hockey players.
Some of the best looking jerseys in all of college hockey
College hockey must have some terrible jerseys then. Yeesh.
I like the army football jerseys. Because of pucks being black, u can’t have black hockey uniforms
Great video, absolute beauty of a campus and thanks for all those that protect us!
Beautiful tribute to all the heroes that serve our country. May their sacrifice never be taken for granted.
Heroes to the military contractors, sure
@@wweguyspam893 look out folks we got an edgelord here
What sacrifices? lol.
@rad-pt6sy say what you want about certain wars, you haven't sacrificed anything for freedom. Men and women still serve to protect the United states
Incredible work once again! Chicklets youtube might be the most underrated channel on the planet! So much great content
Watched them play the Maine Black Bears a couple of weeks ago, we were wondering about the history behind their program. Awesome interview. Thanks for there service 🇺🇸

Great job G...really enjoyed this one. I feel your pain those obstacle courses are hard.
Not sure why I love this show but I do. I've never seen a game of US College hockey but this is a fantastic series.
Ron 'Rod' Adimey, Army Goalie from the class of '94 was destined to be an NHLer (according to his Dad).
What a great video, puts into perspective how small our sacrifices are as civilians. These men and women are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We should never take what we have for granted
Honestly, I feel like it was an honor JUST TO WATCH this! Thank you!!

Not the most beautiful facilities in comparison to other featured universities... But definitely the biggest bunch of beauties playing for this program. Thanks for your service, boys!

@stephendacey8761 that is wild, my head would fall off if we had that
Sacco is so down to earth what a great captain
Love that they have “BEAT NAVY “ on their weight plates !!

Love this series. You guys should do more AHA schools since they're not as famous. And I went to one lol.
Unreal piece! Thanks for the letting us in
Great to see the RMC - West Point series mentioned!
Holy shit, Grinell is turning into RA right before my eyes. That obstacle course was rough lol.
If I’m correct Coach Riley’s dad Jack Riley coached Herb Brooks and cut him from the Olympic National Team. They briefly mention Coach Riley in Miracle.
You are correct! I had the honor of being coached by Rob and Brian Riley there. Great hockey tradition and family.
As someone who had a personal connection to TK,I just want to say thank you
Awesome. Great work here!!
Great vid and amazing program!
Coach with the vintage bauers, love it. Also, what an ending to this!
