In the coming years, this M256 will make 500 horses, for the 53 AMG and will eventually be passed won to the 43 AMG. With this engine, it will get harder and harder to justify the existence of the 63 AMG. It took many years for Ford to convince its customers that the 3.5 liter ecoboost was more powerful than its 5.0 V8 engine. Mercedes is on that track. I think it was a mistake for them to push a 4 cylinder C63 AMG. I think customers will be happy with a V6 in the 63 AMG but not a 4 cylinder.
Working at the benz dealership, this is 100% trash design. engine harness will get burn, the ignition coil is right next to the turbo, cook the ME if the harness is burn, too much 48v issues. rattle can noise when cool start. but overall somewhat reliable
