Cardiology key terms don't need to be complicated, I have put together a 10 minute presentation on all the cardiology key terms for both EMT and Paramedic students. This will help you tremendously with cardiology review and cardiology NREMT.
As The Paramedic Coach, I get messages from students confused about preload vs afterload, stroke volume and cardiac output. I cover this in detail plus explain the differences between angina, STEMI, N-STEMI, OMI and show two different cardiology equations you will encounter in class.
All of this is covered in a concise 10 minute lesson, I hope you enjoy this EMS education lesson.
    Be great,
    Evan, The Paramedic Coach®

What were the main topics on the exam?

@@rjbartlett7073 I felt like the bulk of the questions I got were cardiology and airway. However all of the main ones were there: Airway, Respiration & Ventilation.
Cardiology & Resuscitation. Trauma. Medical/Obstetrics/Gynecology. EMS Operations. I think the questions are random for everyone but I got a surprising amount of questions about seizures too.

Passed my NREMT EMT exam today on my first try. I thank you, Evan, because I don't think I would've passed it if it weren't for these videos!

One question, if stroke volume is your systolic - diastolic and “normal” BP is considered 120/80 wouldn’t the stroke volume be 30? I’m a little confused
