  • This is a catch up video from 2021 with a group of us spending some time in the San Juan Mountains around Silverton, Ouray, and Telluride. This is the 1st of 2 videos on the trip.
    This video covers trails in the Kendall Mtn. area, Arrastra, Mini and Eureka Gulch, Little Giant Basin, California and Hurricane Passes, Velocity and Minnehaha Basins an others in the Cement Creek area as well as Corkscrew, Ophir Pass and Bolam Pass.

    Thank you SO much for this wonderful video. I think you have captured the beauty of the area more than most videos out there! Our hearts were captured by the area on our first visit. It is a certainty my hubby and I will never get to travel those roads again. So to see videos like this is a real delight. Thank you thank you

    Nice video and great shots of the area. You packed a lot of sights into a short video and that made it really interesting.

    That place is amazing, can you recommend any trails that don’t have too bad of switchbacks or thousand foot shelf roads?

      Fact is, the whole area makes their livelihood from these trails so they do a great jopb keeping them very drivable. Thats part of the draw is that pretty much anyone with a 4x4 can drive back country high elevation without having to rock crawl. I would say the roughest or scariest trails to avoid would be Black Bear, "north" Mineral Creek area that feeds to the roughest trail - Poughkeepsie
