Man your a bloody genius that’s a tuff job getting a wheel straight enough for a car especially at home with a make shift set up ..brilliant. Thats the coolest nicest mk1 transit I’ve ever seen , I’ve seen the Icelanders do the fire thing to get there tyres back on after tracking out on the ice only they do it with the wheel and tyre still on there trucks lol it’s a cool trick and works so effectively 👌👍

Yea I love this Mk1 now, definitely the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Yea the fire tyre trick we’ve used with our mates LandRovers when we’ve poped a tyre off its rim too, can’t beat a bit of fire and explosions 😂 cheers 🍻 👍
the tire changer spins slower so you might be able to weld full speen on that if you set the voltage and wirespeed right , can set the welding gun on a stand and just let her rip
Yea I’ve seen people do them and other circular stuff on tyre machines and was going to do it myself too but ended up just doing it on my balancer as was easy to just put my welding torch where my grinder was 😁 good call though mate 👍👍 cheers

@@CarJunkeez iv been a Ford man all my days last fast car I had was a cossy sold about 7 years ago rebuilt from ground up . Looked for a mk2 transit for years and have never found anything worth doing so t4 came at right age 91 and right price Your mk1 is stunning 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁✌🤞

I don't know how many escorts mk1s and mk2s most got the usal conversion 2l pinto and 5 speed seirra box or if lucky 2.8 capri boxlol and last 2 mk1rs turbo loved that car never had to do anything to it and final cossy wich I got fae a mate that had been dry stored for 20 years (hidden fae ex wife lol ) Still building escorts for other folk well I lend a hand lol 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁✌🤞
Not sure as I got them secondhand off eBay, but normally barrels do have at least one recess to hold tyre bead but these don’t have any. It worked out better for me anyway 😃👍

Is that a tractor wheel barrel? There is no bead to hold a tubeless tire on.
