ive been changing my own tires at home by hand since i was a teenager with simple hand pry bars and hammer, the tires come off from the front, there is a lock bead built into the wheel on the back side of the wheel, they come off easy with a simple soap solution
What a great little stove/heater for any cabin or small house even. Cook your beans and coffee at the same time. It's fun to watch you create all these nice things with pure junk and you seem to really enjoy yourself also. Keep making us smile~!!
No se entiende muy bien si se recuperan los viejos rines pero la parte de arriba parece de madera y solo veo que. Esta para incendiar leña o es un calentador o asador de carne
When cutting door out do the first cut line then weld the hinge before cutting the door out then it will match up perfect with no big gaps around the door
I love it! Wish you could send me one....but how did you put the hinges on. Great work and a good improviser...not many people can do it but lots of people can pick it apart. Pay no attention to them you created something very nice and useful! I'd love to see more.
. Always nice to see things reused, instead of thrown away. And a nice build as well. However, I would certainly make sure I had an CO detector in any place I was going to use this. Thumbs Up!
It's not a grill, because where do you put the meat? It seems to be a wood burner, type wood stove for heating a garage, but only using tiny pieces of wood. You could fry bacon on the top, but it would be contaminated with paint.
I get the feeling that this was a "Let's just do it" kind of project with no prior planning. If I was making it, I'd have chopped the original welds holding the hub's into the rims and knocked the whole center out so as to avoid having those ruddy great return lips all over the inside, and I wouldn't have welded all around the 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th rims so I could use the unwelded join as the top and bottom of the door. Same with welding the rims together in the area where they're being cut out for the chimney. I'd also probably have made the grate as a removable ring and not welded the 3rd and 4th rims together (Just metal alignment tabs around the outside edge) so the rest of the body could be lifted off and the base used like a bucket to take the ash wherever it was being disposed of. It's an interesting idea, But not particularly well executed. Sorry.
Why not just keep the bottom wheel intact and fill the holes? Also, are used, steel barrels hard to get a hold of where you live? I know they make smaller varieties than the 55-gal drum.
looks like made it upside down? where cut center of the wheel out, the edges look like facing up? why? that will trap ashes, humidity condensation. if the edge had the ridge facing down, then nothing can land or fall into & cant collect moisture. anything else is opinions or changes to it. & as long as works. its good.
To bad people in all these films don't know how to use a cutting torch and lets paint it up real pretty so we can build a fire in it and burn all the paint off.
Pretty good, great skill there... but lacking in originality for me personally (plz don't take wrong way).. I've seen lots of DIY stoves out there, ones made from empty barrels... I like to be more inventive with various parts from scrap-yard... there's literally endless possibilities you can use car alloys for.. because all your looking at is form.. organic forms, robust forms and so on.. make us a reel you can use on a boat made from old car alloys... or a security vault made from old alloys and a lock and key mechanism... a table, with 4 U shapes (from alloy) made to support the table.. (and bell shape of alloy (centre bit as the table top bit).. a clock made from car alloy, a DIY made Fan that can blow air and be used in the office/elsewhere.. a Jet Turbine (monument) made from car alloys, and ways you can manipulate/bend the metal in interesting ways... how you can temper metal to make something else.. e.g. cutting several pieces out of alloy to make a full out fan... a Crucible made of car alloys which you can use for smelting.. perhaps you could even smelt the alloys and cast a new shape/mold out of the metal/properties they possess... make something entirely new... e.g. a Workbench Vice made from smelted car alloys... a gas pipe system that can expel gas away from a workshop (like those big pipes you see).. car alloys bent/stretched/welded and reshaped into Fenders on a car protecting the wheel from elements (e.g. rain and dirt and tarmac and all that stuff) etc... a Bin to dump your stuff into.. a coil, made of long piece of car alloys welded together to form a snake that can be bent and manipulate into a swirl shape which could act as a spring or suspension on monster truck etc... a Rocket Engine Tester (to test different fuels and measure rates of thrust) and so on..
Propane gas bottle would have been way easier and quicker and a better Finnish 😊(that door wow lol,) and before anyone says can I do better yes I can and have, just my 2 penneth worth that's all I'm saying
Craig: can you give this guy some credits please. No negativity here but just encouragement. I can go out and buy a nice grill but this guy is down to earth honest and willing to roll his sleeves and work. Not that he cannot buy one. He can but he prefers to make it with his 2 hands. I salute this guy.
Well,... that's a 'nice' stove I guess but way too small. The wood you can put in it would have to be quite small and would not burn long. Also it has way too much gap in the doors, it would leak smoke when not burning quite hard. Just fine for sitting around drinking beer in the back yard I guess, but not much of a heater.
I don't know about that i have a wood business and are work area is the side of a barn to block wind and when we are cutting logs and splitting wood we got 2 55 gallon drums burning are scrap wood with multiple holes drilled in them and once they get ripping they throw the heat pretty good , better than open fire on ground , just saying
From now on could you cut out welding spots we don't need to see that. Also I won't watch anymore of your stuff unless you identify in title what you are making. Glad for fast forward cause no tight fit on that door. Dang what ya gonna use it for. You can burn yard trash in your barbecue grill. I guess the pandemic is useful for something. But I would have stopped while it was a tall tree planter. Well enuf of my critique. Loved the incubator though

Thanks to all ...
I like watching people who aren't mechanics struggle with mounting and dismounting tires. It's funny.
So awesome thanks for your time and you are amazing today ☺️😘 ocie 💕 👍
Turned out nice! But, the work that went into making it...your great grandchildren will still be using it..

That is a very heavy duty cooker. Your grandchildren will still be using it 👍
I hope so!

Muy útil y bonito que te salió ese calenton pero ni siquiera le diste una labada para pintarlo y lo pintaste con todo y tierra?
Que bueno la recuperación de esos rines felicitaciones
Mr Dk thank u ure truly amazing.

Great work! Perfect for hurricane season. Video a bit dark tho.
I knew u was making one of those for your garden

Svaka čast, dobar posao. Jesu ovo felge dvanaestice? Od fiće?
If I had a garage I can turn those into electric wheel to both drive and generate electricity in a normal car to make it fuel less if needed

Parvez Aslam good thanks so much love u 🇵🇰 very good thanks thanks 🤔 thanks 🤔 thanks
Very creative and clever. Well done.👍😊
The fire pit / bbq setup is pretty nice
all you had to do was cut the spot welds and the centres would have popped right out, and you'd increase inside diameter by 1/3.
I get the feeling that this was a "Let's just do it" kind of project with no prior planning.

I love it! Awesome work
Thanks
Good creation.
Bravissimo
Thanks
Great job! Could add another section just like that horizontally as a smoking pit to cook meat.

I'll give you an "A" for effort but you made that so much more complicated than it had to be.

Muito criativo ! Mas muito trabalho, não vale apena nao
Wish you would have showed how you made the hinges
What a man! What a man ! What a mighty fine man.

Thank goodness I was able to fast forward. This was worse than watching paint dry .BTW, what did you do with all the scrap pieces left over?

You should've welded the bars in before you welded the rims together
Watch Full. Congratulations
Super thinking . Brilliant ideas.

Vamos ver o que ele vai fazer !
I watch this product but i dont under what uses this product but it is hard work but beautiful.
So nice great idea very creative mind
what a nice backpacking stove!
For a strong man competition..
Legal gostei muito valeu
Cut thru the chase. Just show the rims and start from there.
Wow! He made a barrel.
J’adore
Wow great Job sir I like your mind
You used 4 rims plus lot of welding /grinding martial and lot of time, labour , It would be much better if you use a drum for that
You have to admire his tenacity. He likes this tedious work. Creativity is called women's crafting. What are men called----builders?

Watched it in 2 minutes 8 seconds, thank you fast forward...

Cool looking stove MAN !
Good build the only video I have seen that used a filter over the camera when welding
I liked the beginning where you tossed around the wheels for a few minutes ..

The music makes it a fail. Very sloppy welding too.
wow a lot of work

He make a stower too much work, but it how long can be used . Not good .
Why don't use a mini drum because that will be low cost other then your project.
🔥
Parabéns
Top job
sorry did that with truck rims forty years ago no big deal
I thought you were going to cook on the top flat part.
Awesome!
I can get a rim job from my wife but I’m sure as hell not going to film it!
Okkkk

£300 worth of welding rods later and you have a crap looking wood burner.

Yes, you're absolutly right. Holy crap.
