I use a variety of different things. I sometimes use sachet bags with a mixture of oils, but I try and stay away from oils since it can sometimes stain the yarn, especially with the cows. The scents usually lasts at least two weeks, sometimes longer. The real trick is not going nose-blind to it. If you heat them up, say in a hot car, usually you can smell it for a little bit before going blind to it again.
