The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

Which then caused Kendall to become upset, it was awkward for all the girls the moms (Jill) shouldn't have made it worse. Once again, we don't know how much they edited this but this was early enough in the show that it leads me to believe that she's actually like this at times.

When Melissa picked Nia, Jill freaked out and threw a tantrum, Christi remained calm and clapped for Nia. Abby basically made Melissa choose Chloe, Holly clapped for her and Jill threw another tantrum. Christi and Holly have always been able to celebrate ALL the kids, not just their own

I feel like this choreography was better suited for Chloe overall, and I believe only Chloe would be able to pull of this choreography gracefully. Although I feel bad for Kendall and nia, I can see why Chloe got it.

Honestly Kendall is underrated in lyrical and contemporary solos. She danced really well in fool me twice and not just another pretty face. She could've pulled off other pieces like silence too, had she learnt how to use her face

What’s so sad about this clip is this really shows how amazingly talented and dedicated Chloe was (and still is!) but Abby killed her passion and confidence instead of creating a star in her dance company. Abby’s loss

The saddest thing was when Chloe got the opportunity to dance at, Joffrey and got the scholarship Abby got Maddie one when there was only meant to be one person to get the scholar and got maddie a ballet instructor later on when Chloe loved ballet and was rlly good. as a former dancer, it always makes me so sad when I see Chloe in the rehearsals and when she was listening to Abby talk. She looks tired and stressed out, she really needed this win. But I could also see how draining this competition was and even though she won, I think this was the start of her losing that passion because it was about producing a winning result versus going out and having fun.
I figure half of those girls are probably ready to quit dancing simply because of their mom.

Maddie is an incredible dancer, but I feel like she’s always been more of a performer (absolutely NOTHING wrong with that) whereas you can tell Chloe dances with her entire heart and soul and it’s just so raw. Two amazing dancers with two very different styles. They will forever be my favourite ALDC dancers!🥰
Absolutely right! Chloe and Maddie are different dancers and they both dance so beautifully. Maddie is a great performer,I love watching her dance and Chloe is more of a graceful dancer like a ballerina,just raw beautiful dancing no tricks,it's refreshing and calming.i love her passion I can literally feel it.

I think this choreography just fit Chloe's style the most. Kendall is more sassy on stage, and Nia has such a vibrant stage present. They both do so well with higher energy numbers. Chloe always performed delicate pieces like this very well.

Well she did point to the mothers. She’s always the first to get the girls out of the room before adult drama starts. And I’m sure Nia being calm and healthy in her mind is the result of her mom not putting unreasonable pressure on her but boy does she get mad (with 100% reason) when Abby does something subtly racist.

Chloe's smile when Maddie was dancing was gorgeous, the smile to Maddie while dancing was as if (and is true) she is super proud of her and thinks she is amazing, she didn't have on a competitive face, she is super kind and amazing
Holly and Christi's personality is so different yet they support each other and they are happy with what each kids achieved. Nia and Chloe are on top of the most well rounded student Abby ever had, yet she treat them so bad till the end.

Chloe did the best then anyone could’ve done it. I thought she was amazing and beautiful and she had emotion, Kendall and Nia didn’t have that much emotion.
@Sarah Acosta yes because she loves playing roles like that and you can see that when she is dancing. I think she has something that no one else has on the team, something special and heart feeling
My guess is that Chloe had already learned the choreography before filming and the “selection” was just for drama. This solo was made for her.

@@kwinters9485 1. The producers are known to fake situations to enhance drama (for example, Maddie got the Joffrey scholarship too and the jealousy plotline was faked). 2. While the girls are “auditioning” for this solo, Nia and Kendall are more focused on actually remembering the piece and Chloe seems to know it well enough to actually perform. 3. Every week the producers decided who would be performing which solos, costumes, the attended competitions, and the pyramid placement. Abby admits it herself. The choreography was the only genuine part (and even then, many of the girls reused choreo from unaired solos).
Season 5 is when things started to change. Competitions were real up until then. Holly said in their podcast that rules changed regarding how many hours the girls could be at the studio... Parents at competitions didnt want their kids on film so they had to do the competition twice. Chloe definitely didnt know that dance already. I see your comments a lot and I think you need to listen to Holly, Jill and Melissa's podcast. They clear up a lot of misconceptions

I’d suggest YOU watch the Dance Moms Uncovered series by MackZBoss, where many interviews with the moms are pulled up, as well as old tweets. There’s an episode on the competitions being fake, and only 3-4 different companies held all the competitions with different names. In fact, the S2 Nationals Competition in this very episode was hosted by the company who fakes drama at all their competitions (ex: Maddie running offstage during In My Heart, Nationals S5 Loss). Thank you for attempting to correct me though!

i think its truly horrible the way the producers always pitted maddie and chloe against each other, you could tell they were really good friends, yet they always tried to paint maddie as the egotistical type, or chloe as the jealous type. even then, you can see how genuinely happy maddie was for chloe when she got 1st

Chloe is the best dancer out of all of them. She always had beautiful extensions, better lines, and more flow.
Shout out to Christie and Holly for always standing up to Abby when she played favourites, whether it helped their kids or not. Where as Jill only ever had a problem when it hurt Kendal.
