    Nice to see someone that actually knows how to jump start a F1 gearbox Ferrari :)

    Wrapping and ppf is what my friend does for a living. Never seen anything less than perfection. Personally I can't tell when he's wrapped something it's so good.

      Yeah that's not usually the case. Most installations are crap.

    Without a doubt the Ferrari F430 will keep going up on price, still looks gorgeous, and being one of the most reliable and nice to use Ferraris it will still be more demanded. Thanks Normal Guy Supercar for your videos, I bought one a year ago. Thank God.

      It does not going up in price, not yet. It's still losing value. At least in Europe. And yes it is the most reliable of the "old" Ferraris.

    Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that you can push start an F1 transmission Ferrari. At first thought I would have figured that could cause problems, or that the car wouldn't respond well to it, but that looked easy.

    How do you push start a single clutch car? I thought the clutch would be disengaged since the motor isn't running? Or does it detect on how fast the wheels are spinning? Also, first Ferrari that's not red too! That's a surprise

      Intrigued as well Dan as I didn’t think you could bump the F1 transmission. I thought only option was jumper leads. Deffo needs video👍

      Presumably just ignition on, into neutral. Get a good push then pull the paddle for first and away you go?

    • @charlie1832
      @charlie1832 2 года назад

      Might have to have someone in the car holding both paddles while other people push

    15:01 Did you know Niki Lauda used to say exactly that? It appears in the movie Rush, on the scene where he was driving his future wife´s Ferrari and claming that the car was acting weird hahaha! By the way, your face when the Ferrari didn´t start was epic! Great video!

    I liked that stereo in my 430 - it takes CF memory cards (pop the small panel that the volume control is on)

    FYI Rob Feretti on his channel recently said there's a product that will cheaply fix the sticky button issue. Some kind of lemony liquid. It's the latest video on his new Ferrari purchase.

    Seems like a pretty good example with just a few replacement parts required to bring it to retail standard. As you say unusual to find all the original Ferrari accessories in the vehicle.

    Whoa! Had to check my garage to make sure my car was still in there. Basically a copy of my car except mine has the Bordeaux interior and slightly higher mileage. Will be keeping tabs on what you sell this one for, and how quickly it moves. I’d been debating whether it was time to sell mine or not. Then again, to me this is one of the most perfect sports cars that balance the best of the analog and modern worlds.
    Not sure what y’all paid, but probably somewhat in line with what I would be looking for.

    That's a fantastic price something in that shape. I'm still about a year out from having enough downpayment saved up to get a 430 with out being bent over a barrel on financing and I've been getting real nervous about the number of F430s I've been seeing go for 150+. Who knows what the market on these cars will look in 23' but it's making me real happy to see good ones from honest sellers still going for sub 130.

    • @normalguysupercar
      @normalguysupercar  2 года назад

    • @scuddryvr8784

      The only $150K plus I see are spiders and sub 5000 mile examples which are very rare on an F430. All “normal” mileage coupes I see right now which is about 90% are in this general price. I wouldn’t worry.

    Just a question. Brooks from the RUclips channel Dragtimes says the Toyo 888r is the best tyres to fit on all these supercars and he did made his point by setting faster times after they were fitted onto even his brand new cars. Aren't they cheaper than the Michelens and have you tried the Toyo already?

    • @pabbip9
      @pabbip9 2 года назад +1

      I think the R888 are great on the track and drag strip but most people that buy this car are not doing that most likely. Most buying a 430 are doing weekend cruises and car shows. The occasional pull from a stop light. I want the r888 for my Cayman but they don’t make it for my size.

    • @normalguysupercar
      @normalguysupercar  2 года назад +1

      R888 are not very street friendly and they don't last long. I prefer the Michelin PS4S for street cars.

    Glad it’s in great shape but as far as the spec goes....ugggg.... no matter what fancy word the Italians call that color, it’s still just “silver“ the same color +\~ as my Ford Fusion. My point is, the best looking spec for a Ferrari is always in some sort of a Italian Red. End of story, HARD STOP. Good luck Dan with getting the price you want for this car. I’m sure you will :-)
