Robin is truly incredible. His execution, mixing, songwriting, and passion were all top-notch. We may never see another looper like this again at GBB. Such an inspiration - I got emotional watching the winner's ceremony as he thoroughly deserves this. From one of the greatest battle rounds ever at a GBB (round one vs Dice) to some of the most powerful emotional rounds ever delivered (all of his second rounds), his diversity and quality really shined through. Robin stated in a stream that this is likely to be his last GBB as a competitor. Best of luck to whatever Robin does in future!
A small, but truly beautiful detail, is that; Robin is using the microphone provided to him for KBB here. After 2 years the paint has worn off, it is battle hardened, showing his dedication and practice throuhought those years. I find the symbolism quite strong. We love you Robin, everybody is so proud ! 🌞
I see a lot of people questioning Robins win. Im not an expert and have only been into beat boxing for about a year. But what i have seen from Robin has been so different and so special. Everyone likes the hard drops and cools sounds. But they fail to realize that loopstation has gone from cool sounds, to cool beats, to genuine musical pieces. And you dont “need” a drop (regardless of how fun they may be) to prove that you are the best at your craft. Robin demonstrates an originality, flow, musicality, and skill that i havent seen in another beatboxer yet, all while pouring his heart and soul into his performances and making little to no mistakes from a production standpoint. This man has the skill to warrant a first place finish. And especially in this competition he deserved that first place finish. His toughest opponent in my opinion was Dice. But he murdered him by a smartly placed hardstyle beat that was completely out of his norm and the hardest drop of the competition. Matej did AMAZING considering the lack of preparation but this win was 100% deserved. Matej will come back prepared next year and show us what he can really do. Big ups to all competitors who put on an insane show with insane songs and insane battles.

People are ignorant, can't even hear that Robin had nearly, if not zero mistakes, if he had any they were miniscule. Robin also had the highest risk round, the first round, he needs to do that entire 2 minutes perfect, the time constraint on that round is insane, and it is the, hands down, peak surprise, you can just look at the judges and you will understand. Just in case, no negativity meant, i was just shocked. Honestly i may have taken it more seriously than it is, sort of sounded like it was questioning in a bad way. Also back when it was Robin vs Kristof in the finals of KBB, i was 100% on Robins side, unique on every level, i still feel sad it was not Robin that won, but Kristof absolutely deserved it too, no reason to question his win when hes earned it.

I remember when i first found out about professional beatboxing back in 2019. When i watched gbb 2017 and saw Robin's performance i immidietly fell in love. Since then i was rooting for him and now seeing him win GBB and making so much progress is such a satisfying feeling. Truly the king of the jungle 🦁
This is far and away the best overall gbb performance ever. Very first round he proved he can battle and he can do it FLAWLESSLY, everything after that was a fucking story. He essentially performed an entire perfectly cohesive album. Listening to this compilation helps me appreciate his rounds far more. They transition together flawlessly. I literally got chills listening to this. I can feel the emotion he has put into his art in a way that no one has ever done on the gbb stage. He told a tragic yet hopeful story and painted it on a canvas for the entire world to see. Robin is a true artist.
After watching Robin since 2017 & all the battles he's lost (Saro, Tioneb, etc) it is so amazing to finally see him get what he deserves. His style is unlike anyone else & his music takes you on a journey.

I always liked Robin's songs and how it was touching with beaultiful melodies. When i watched his first round Against DICE i knew he was going to be the champion, it was his time to win GBB after all this time.

I discovered him a while ago when one of my favorite music producer youtuber reacted to his battle against dice, but oh boy i was shocked to hear that his loops have the quality of a studio recorded music. It's crazy how he has massive skill as a musician, he understands timing and rythm so much better than anyone else in that competition it's insane.
that second round vs bizkit have everything i expect from perfect song. You know when u are hearing song and theres a part that u would change a bit to sound better and the sound effects u would add. This song has all of them, perfect melody, perfect pitch, that fading at end maaaan. This guy is godlike

It's weird, since it would've been heard regardless - Robin would've been in the small final if he had lost to Bizkit.
