I found this very interesting. I received a 1930's Singer Sewing Machine from my grandmother who was born in 1902. My mom sewed on an Olive Green Elna, which she still has today. She hasn't used it in years, but I learned to sew on it as a young girl. It still works too.
The singer corporation has swallowed most brands and during the 1940's also destroyed the habitat of the ivory-billed woodpecker for sewing machine cabinets sad I know, the older machines need oil the newer machines doesn't oh please don't place any magnets near the electronic ones no matter how cute no matter how weak the magnet it will wipe out everything actually tech ignorant, I grew up watching CRT TV color yes that were big and expensive even on payments plans,t guess what our little brother got a big magnet and wanted to see yes you know what was going to happen but out of nowhere dad appeared and yep nothing happened I was so happy, I figured he knew one of us was gong to try it. The new ones will experience the same.
I'll definitely be showing this to my students in Sept. I'm adding it to my Pinterest board for my class. Thank you!
So glad you can use it!

Thanks for stopping by again to watch!
Super interesting! I used to find older sewing machines in thrift stores- I loved finding the OLD ones with the peddle!
Me too Stephanie. My favourite thing in my 30s was saving machines, fixing them and giving them away to people. Thanks for stopping to watch. 💜♥️😊
