Great Video. The Red Sealing Wax Palm or Lipstick Palm is difficult to cultivate but well worth the effort. It likes Partial-Sun and plenty of water. Remember this is a denizen of swampy locations is Malaysia. It hates the cold and cannot tolerate temperatures below 58 degrees F. It also does not like wind so I recommend a sheltered location. It prefers a slightly acidic soil. It grows very slow for the first 4 years and then the growth really speeds up. By Gregg L. Friedman MD

HI i have couple of sealing wax seeds, i potted them in soil with about 80% humidity and i kept them for one month in room temperature but until now i could not get any shoot.
I have change the soil type, using organic compost mix with soil and perlite. I have not press hard on seeds to deepen them in soil. I have also lightly covered them with another layer of soil mixture. Can you guide me on how to grow from seeds. Thanks.

Love this palm. Very tricky to grow, unless you have high humidity. I think for Canary islands, which has desert conditions, nearly impossible? But wonderfull palm...Are you growing Adonidia or coconut palms ?

I grew them by seeds place seeds in a paper towel wrap them add water place in ziplock bag wait they germinate nicely out of 10 seeds I got 5 plants growing
