Wow still beautiful in it's own right. You should think about donating some offshoots to the botanical garden in Flordia so it's for sure is preserved and more people can get to see it since it's so rare.
Interesting trunk variegation as well. There seems to be a variation of lipstick that is getting around Australia and is doing well in the sub tropics like your area.
Beautiful, I was looking for the lipstick palm. But this hybrid is even better for its cold hardiness. I only see seeds for lipstick palm sale on Amazon. Where can I buy this locally? Love to buy a small one and try and grow and propagate it.
Good video thanks I just got some seeds to plant from Costa Rica i will be the first on the island where i am from to have them they are getting some how more & more common in Costa Rica.
@@jeffsearle6220 Great ! Jeff I'm Abel De La Cruz it's nice to meet you . Let me know when you do please my email is delacruzabel23@yahoo.com as soon as you have them available. Thank you so much Jeff. Have great week and stay safe my friend .
Hi, how can I order one? I'm in South Texas and have started a tropical garden here. I've started a few rare bamboos and many giant elephant ears. This world a very nice addition to my garden. You can check it out on Facebook, Atascosa County Horticulture Club. I've got name different passionflowers and fruits growing. Oh I'm on the search for a Traveler Palm as well.
Hi Avel, unfortunately I don't have small ones that can be shipped in a box. My smallest ones at this time are in 7 gallon pots and usually are 4-5' in height. If you ever get down to south Florida, please look me up!
There are a few large ones now in the area that are flowering but mine could set seed as early as summer of 2020. This has been a slow process and no telling where it's going. If it does set viable seed, who then knows what they will look like once they grow up. And that takes 3-5 more years.
This is such a beautifully colored palm! And because it’s fast growing, I’m sure it’s very appealing when starting a new area.
So interesting! Always eager to listen and learn from the best...keep the segments coming!
Thanks Brian, we do plan on making more videos very soon.
one of my favorite palms! Hope to have it in my collection one day soon!
And you will love it!!!

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Seed set would be significant. You might get throwbacks resembling pure sealing wax palms with the desired cold tolerance. Here’s hoping.
This is beautiful. I would love to have one of these in my collection.
Thanks very much 007, Nice video of an interesting palm. And request you to post more videos from your exotic plants collection.
Lots of love,
Kris.
Hi Kris!! My son and I are definitely going to keep making more. I already have another new one coming out later this week. Thanks my good friend.
