Projects like this can become fun works of wearable art when they are done. Plus it's super satisfying to use scraps to fulfill your passion! - Esther

Yes! 100% agree and I love that you can put together fabrics and colors, even textures that otherwise you would never put together and it becomes a new experience. I feel that it also lets you try new techniques and problem solve whatever comes your way!

You have the eye of an artist when it comes to the composition of very different fabrics harmonizing together into one beautiful garment!

It was also a scrap fabric project :) I love that fabric and could not let it go to waste :)

How lovely! One thing I don't like about recycled clothing is that it often looks haphazardly put together and the fabrics/prints don't really go together. Your top looks cohesive. Well done!

It's hard to believe that this projet wasn't intentional from the start. You really know how to find complimentary colours and patterns. This is beautiful.

Pattern-matching is your superpower 😍 I think that extra effort definitely helps a final garment to look less like a fabric salad. I'm always astounded by the uses you find for VERY small scraps and it has inspired me to do the same, mostly in kids' clothes so far.

I don’t make clothes anymore but your projects remind me of some of my knitting projects. If short I go through all of my yarn to combine colors in an ‘ intentional’ way. Well done.

This comment is not related to this video ...
But, I want to tell you because of you I dusted off my bias tape makers and sewed an apron for my 2 year-old, bias tape was my nemesis ... No longer the case thanks to you.
I appreciate the work you do, your videos are my source of inspiration when it comes to sewing.

You can also use those scraps to make shopping tote bags, to be used as: gifts, to sell for charity or self fundraising, etc.

I think that you CAN totally do it! Give yourself a chance and enjoy the journey of making clothes, you can start with sewing for your grand daughters, simple projects first, and then you can see if you like it.
