      Hey welcome back. I appreciate the kind words. Condition really means a lot to me personally, I feel like collecting is also about preserving the intergrity of the games so I really try to avoid beat up stuff. But I also see the benefit financially to grab stuff a little beat up but it is just not for me.

      Travis Bates I do have a pretty small on later in the video with a famicom hooked to it and then I have a larger one sitting in the closet that I did not show in the video. I understand CRTs give the best image for older games and newer tvs have a slight lag for older games but it has not been to the point in which it has really effected me so I do not mind playing on newer tvs.

    Honestly if I had this nice of a collection I wouldn't even play the games. I would just emulate them (except the newer consoles of course) so I wouldn't wear on the games and consoles through continued use. Just looking around a collection like that while I'm in my underwear playing god knows what sounds like a perfect life. Good collection my man.

      I understand. I have considered everdrives but there is not to many games that I return to on a frequent enough bases that I am stressing about wear and tear. I do think for some of the higher priced and rare games emulation might be a little better but I am pretty careful with them for sure.

The UMK3 I have loose but have not been able to track down a mint complete in box copy at a good price like I would prefer. for the other games I do have them all complete in box for the Super Famicom later in the video. Defintely some good titles on the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom.

    3 of my most rare and expensive SNES games are Dragon Quest V, Dragon Quest VI and Final Fantasy V put out by a small retro gaming company called Timewalk Games. Did this company have any connection to Nintendo? When did these games come out? The 3 games I mentioned were released in Japan for the Super Famicom but not in the U.S. In the 1990's as far as I know. These games were originally English translated ROMs playable on an SNES emulator on a computer. This Timewalk game company put out these English translations on SNES reproduction carts with reproduction SNES labels in boxes that look like original SNES boxes. Do you have any of these Timewalk games or any others this company produced? I have a LOT of my gaming friends searching for these Timewalk games but can't find them for sale on eBay or any retro gaming store. I wonder how many games this company released and if they were only English translated RPGs that never came out originally for the system. ..

    • @tadpole1313
      @tadpole1313  3 года назад

      I am familiar with Time Walk. They were one of the best if not the best companies on the market for these reproduction cartridges. They made great box art and would even go the extra mile to do manuals and posters etc. I remember when you ordered something from them it would take somewhere between 8 to 12 weeks or something like that as they would put everything together from scratch upon order. I personally ordered the Super Mario World Return to Dinosaur land from them and had every intention of also getting Starfox 2 at the time. So I ordered Mario and I was going to wait til I received that before making the order for starfox 2. During that period of waiting for Mario they announced they were closing due to wanting to spend more time with family and there real jobs. (Most speculate they had pressure from bigger companies and potential lawsuits so they made the wise move to get out of it) I was fearful they were not going to send the Mario but to my surprise they finished the active orders they had. Time Walk are really sought after today as they are still some of the best aftermarket games available. To answer your question of how many games I do not know. But I believe they closed down back in 2013 or 2014.

    • @ealswytheangelicrealms
      @ealswytheangelicrealms 3 года назад

      Tadpole1313 - Another gamer here messaged me the Timewalk games are super rare because it was a 2 man operation and they produced very few games. He said the games sell for $500 now because of rarity. Only reason I have them is because they had English translations of Super Famicom RPG games that never came out for the Super Nintendo. It is the only way I could play Final Fantasy V, Dragon Quest V and VI in English.

So I just tossed the games in my collection appose to selling them as the time and effort was not worth it. Now a days I should downsize but haven't got around to it.
