Like the drill press setup to drill the bolt.
I like the bolt idea. I've used pieces of tubing that fit into the hole to center the bit but no longer.
Great job
You are a talented man buddy

Very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
I love it! Thanks!
Great video. Thanks for showing me how to center the hole.
Great video Bob. Thats a great ideal. This should help a lot of people. I have a real good set of left handed bits they do come in handy some times. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a great weekend. God Bless!!!
Thanks for the info great video
Great tip. That is a great idea for removing a broken bolt.
Turned out great Bob! Clever and useful tip. Only thing I may do is to center the vise to the chuck and then bolt it down, guaranteed that I'd break a drill bit or several if I try to hand hold the vise. Thanks for the upload.
Good stuff Bud!!☺
Great video and tip. However I have difficulty sharpening a pencil.
When you switched to the left hand bit did you go one size up from pilot hole ? Seams like anytime I redrill a hole next size up, the Bit wants to grab REAL quick?
Nice shirt
dw6 I need some expert advice. I have a cordless drill mounted on my john deere snowblower to turn the chute. Do you have any suggestions on how to keep the chuck from loosening (permanently) that holds a bolt holding a pulley? Any help appreciated! Thanks!!!
Awesome, Great Tips!
I was lucky, a person I maintain equipment for, he had this really nice snapper pro ztr 50 kawasaki fx 20hp engine on it, super heavy duty, well unbeknownst to me he took it to a service shop, and boy did they screw it up, they broke the pto bolt off in the crank shaft, and was going to charge him a crap load of money to fix it, I love when a shop breaks something, and charges the customer for it, but Anywho, I finally get my hands on it, he doesn't want it anymore, so it's now mine, so set off to get the broken bolt out, it's broken off flush, and what they did to try to get it out was terrible, all I did was cut a little off the shaft to make it clean again, with a wizzer saw and blade, cut threw the steel like butter, then I cut a slot in it, the broken bolt, hit it with pb let it sit for a half hour, and used a impact screw diver, and the bolt came right out, so now I own a free snapper ztr pro 50, and I love it, just goes to show that even a professional shop can screw up too, and a little know how can save the day.
.... I have a tooth (up the back) that needs to come out,
