- This video gives an update on vikings valhalla season 3 in which we will be finding out that vikings valhalla has been cancelled and vikings valhalla season 3 will be the final season of this vikings spin off series and vikings sequel. This historical tv show was a netflix original show that Netflix had high expectations for but it never lived upto the hype. So it is needless to say vikings valhalla sucked and that i am glad we will no longer be seeing leif, freys and harald on our small screens.

What a shame if they end the show after season 3...

It’s the final season. I agree with you, I’d love to watch more seasons. Netflix does this bullshit all the time. The Last Kingdom is amazing and had 2 more books to go and they instead made a movie which sucked and ruined years of me watching the series. It’s a shame entirely. I don’t even understand, a show gets a cult following and then they claim to want to “end it on a high note” smh. It ends up being the exact opposite. This show is based on true events they could have continued with more seasons if the ratings are good.

Sadly there has been too much focus on Freydis.. Properly for political agenda's...I really, really hoped it would stick with the theme of season 1, and focus more Heavily on Leif Eriksson.. But especially Harald Hadrada.. His story is the most famoues viking legend, and the story that is straight out of a fantasy novel.. His fantastic Journey to Constantinoble was very much cut to the bone for season 2..But I hope they give it credit where credit is due in season 3.
It was not cancelled. From the very beginning it was known that there will be 3 seasons with 8 episodes each, 24 combined.

That's a lie. The producers and writers are telling that now . But 😅I followed this show evolve since the end of vikings .
And the start of vikings valhalla, and no way they only planned 3 seasons.
They first said the show was going to have a season based on William the Conquere since he was a decendant of rolo
It was initially going to have the first seasons based on Leif and freydes and then the last on William.
They probably noticed all the negative reviews 😅and decided to pull the plug

@@ryufight7987 I believe this. just binged the show both seasons, i skiped the harkkon and freydis story lines and only watch Harald's and Leifs story. I ignored the first becasue of wokeness/feminism propaganda. but the latter with haralod and leif is some of the best show i seen.

Seems unlikely, but that would have been very interesting to watch

@@staravatar7195 Unless they do a time jump like they did after the battle between Rollo and Ragnar in s4, even though i'm aware it would pass over too many years and characters.
Damn, i just can't get over the thought that we aren't going to watch Stamford bridge and Hastings: what a disappointment.

Honestly i really enjoyed season 2, the whole freydis story sucked but leifs story was amazing
These were the stories OF these Vikings. They were fictional characters who shared the same names as real Vikings. This show is more fictional than Game of Thrones.

This show was bad...I loved Vikings so much but I felt the last season was bad. But this was ridicoulus. In the Turkic Petjenec camp a few girls saved Harald from a camp full of Nomadic warriors.....And I hated Freydis storyline...
I would agree that season two was not as good as the first season. I think the shows with the female lead tended to drag and were boring (nothing against female leads).
Yea even season 1 had the same issue but it seems to have gotten exacerbated in season 2
This show has always been about female (/diversity) empowerment.
😅 people need to stop crying about female lead . They show was partly about Freydes, and guess what? She was a freaking female 😅 what did you want them to do through some transgender in the show . If the story is about a female, then it should he a female having that role kind of logic don't you think 😅

Honestly o just want to William the conquer battle of Hastings, Harold godwinson, and especially harald hadrada Stanford bridge the battle that marked the end of the Viking age.
That's what I want as well: I sincerely hope they shall do a time jump (even though way more huge) like they did in the middle of s4 in order to show them (honestly, i do not care about Leif, "the wannabelagertha2.0" Freydis or even less Harald), or i shall sue netflix for stress.
Also some exposure of Vinland saga as well, the mere scenes of the original Vikings portrayed wasn't enough for me

Of course, it couldn't achieve the hype of its Vikings series predecessor.
Shame though, i really like what they were doing with Canute.
The budget was significantly bigger than what season 1 of vikings had, netflix could have done a much better with vikings valhalla. Canute and his dad were cool tho
Lets not forget the actor who played forkbeard, he was amazing...

Most probably they want to raise the interest for season 3, but also thinking that people are full of viking stories
yea maybe netflix is hoping that if they drum up enough hype for season 3 of vikings valhalla they might be able to recoupe some of their losses

Because if you search older articles, from when the show was stil in development . And interviews with the producers writer's they were talking about having seasons based on William the Conquere 😅
And season 2 was already done shooting when 1 was finished .
The costuming is god awful and there are aesthetics on the show that could definitely be improved but i found the acting to be pretty good and enjoy the story even though the writers have taken some artistic licence.
i am glad ur enjoying the show and I hope season 3 lives upto ur expectations as well!

i know Harald, Leif and Freydis share the protagonist role, but I think season 2 abused too much on the supernatural elements and focused way too much on Freydis which was my least favourite story from the 3 main characters.
I still enjoyed season 2 but I think season 1 was done better to be honest
Every one is a critic like you produce the show better lol Season 2 was a bit slow paces but i still enjoyed it and cant wait to see the series finale season. The journey, Harold, Elise, made and season two I'm sure will set up the new voyages for season three. I'm hoping they showed that Lee is the one who supposedly found America because if you look up his biography, that's the true story of his life.

They had already made a deal for 3 seasons before the show had even completed production for season 1. So I think they are contractually obligated to release a third season

I watch it as a very loosely based fantasy saga of a historical figure, because to say it is historically accurate would be foolish
i think ur right watching it as a fantasy tv show might be a better way of watching it, but I kind of just found the overall storyline and the characters themselves to be a bit boring and non sensical

I totally disagree. I love this show!
I feel its a timing thing…as vikings was so successful we needed steep/brew time between vikings and vikings valhalla…if you look at vikings valhalla as an independent of vikings it was good imo better than a lot of other 💩 thats on netflix anyway and ppl remember its a tv show not real history

Its was actually a very good season. It played out a complex but intresting story with lots of great characters who have some intresting journeys and it brought about intresting conclusions whilst setting up for hopefully a great third season. you would know this if you watched more than 25% of it .. 😂😂👉🤡
