I think wave 32 has been one of the strongest mainline waves! The Client comes with great accessories to entice people who wouldn't just want a regular ol' client. Omega came with extra goodies to try and justify that price for a smaller figure. Death Watch Mando is one of the best releases of the year! Same with Ahsoka, one of the best photo-real likenesses of the entire line. Also love that Echo wasn't just reuse of the Hunter or Crosshair figure, plus you get the concept arm! About them being only five figures. Surprisingly that was essentially the norm for years past. I believe wave 31 being eight different characters in a case was the first time they had ever done that. Things are usually "double-packed" like that. The controversy comes with what they choose to double-pack (Lando, lol). Figrin D'an is going on our top 10 as well! P.S. Love long-form content! -Justin

This years line up has been interesting to say the least. I wasn't over thrilled about the Morak Migs, the release I wanted for Migs did hit but late this year. I'm looking forward to the 2023 releases especially the Mara Jade release!

are you planning to do the top 10 black series figures of the year 2022? Hasbro has made a ton of good figures for the black series line and there are those which some people less care for.

It was such a fun year for figures. I miss the hunt because my area doesn't stock well. I finally saw a Dark Rey on a peg last week.

The fourth sister is like the new boba fett for me (the figure at least) wasn't really in the show much and had like one line but the figure and the design are the coolest looking of them all and I can't wait to get her

Best Wave of the year for me was the Echo Wave, only had 5 figures but they sold very quickly, and no peg warmers. The last wave was good too but I'm stuck with a lot of Greef Karga's ^^ You should be able to get your hands on the final wave in about 1 month or less. I like what you said about Dr Evazan and Walrus Man, since those 2 alien/Cantina characters were released we haven't had any other cool looking background alien figs. Obviously Hammerhead, or Snaggletooth in the Black Series would be fantastic. Hasbro should build on the Cantina Showdown pack and continue with more creatures. Looking forward to your next video mate 🙌

I feel like I've never had more trouble getting figures to stand than Reva and Obi-wan, their ankles just seem a little loose, otherwise they look great! Probably some of the best figures in the Black Series line that have come out imo!

It's thanks to the Kenobi series of releases that I did get this Vader and I don't regret it since the overall figure is great. I don't know if we should expect a RotJ Vader for the 40th anniversary yet they went ahead with Ackbar and Yak-face of all characters... And Vader is a seller, especially when done right (looking at TVC). They'll have to make it deluxe with an extra head, interchangeable hand and the glossiest helmet ever...
And yes, I did get the Mandalorian Ahsoka and my main gripe is, no pun intended, her handgrips. The hilts barely fit in her hands on my figure which is unfortunate. Other than that, it's an amazing reprod. of Rosario Dawson's character so that's a real plus.
Part 2 could be exclusives, deluxe and novelty
Part 3 could be pipeline
I’m decently happy with this year. I only collect/like clones and mandolorians and nothing else. This year I got a bunch of new mandalorians,, 3/4 clone commandos from republic commando, the bad batch, and a couple clones. The republic commando ones were a bit disappointed but hey I kinda moved away from black series for that reason
And I haven’t seen a single one of them at my local stores

Why do figures always look so much better looking on video then in real life. Looking at some ur figures going, hot damn that looks awesome. Then I Look over at my shelf and see got that same figure but it just doesn’t have that same, wow, look to it. And it’s not the pose doing it, Just seeing it on screen guess just makes some figures look so life like or kHow RUclips is the work of the devil guess. Makes u see things and want em then get in hand and just fell like hmm.. thanks for a great video of year in review

I'm not a fan of the 5th Inquisitor figure that much. He looks good, but his articulation is atrocious and he has a big trouble standing, despite his clown shoes.
You literally buy every single figure?
It’s been a very bad year for black series, hopefully next year will at least be mediocre.
What were you hoping for that you didn’t get?
Plastic clothing sucks for posing. I agree that a lot of the soft goods robes and capes aren't tailored correctly. If they were to cut down the amount of material and make them more form fitting it would make the whole difference. Tusken raiders skirts are split up the sides which makes it easier for posing I still don't care for it. If Darth Vader came with a rubberized cape, I'd never take it out of the box. That's why all of my Darth Maul are still in box. Rubberized clothing should only be paldrans, short lapels and chest pieces. Tailor made soft goods for me.
I feel you on that, can’t place plastic goods on speeder bikes, seated in thrones, etc. but for how I enjoy my collection (posed on a shelf) I prefer the look of the sculpts rather than soft goods.
trying to sell off all my Black series and can't give them away, I'm done with the repack line
