Hi Tristan, Gerard Morin used kind of same washing machine drum motor. When he used, as you explained well, on the same shaft, one as motor, one as generator! The issue is, regulator, as he described. Good stuff! :)
Hi guys for the washing machine motor trike build I have one motor as a motor on a separate sharft of its own and the other one is on the other side as a generator with different gearing on its separate sharft but both motors will be going down to the back axal but one wheel drive 😁👍

im just curious why you didnt just use another bdlc firect drive as your drive motor as you can set up to be way way more energy efficent and have more torque than the washer motor .you could then do with out the gearing and have them on the one axle
for the controller you just use an arduino and 3 inverter modules that take a pulse input and boost up to 400 volt per phase depending on the rpms your looking for .you can get 3000 or so if really want to
there seems to be a push towards generating really high voltages now as oppsed to low with high current .this high voltage radiiant aspect has some very strange properties though
This is great work my friend! I never got my new controller to work and the seller in China won't help me so I'm out 400 dollars, sorry I really wanted to send you the other one and hopefully will in the future but it's going to take quite some time to save up for another one..

There was 3 different voltages I showed but for my project in only using the DC 2 phase part and yip it is all stock standard wire .the amps are about 25 to 30

Have you tried splitting the engine? I mean half generator and half engine.. use the driver in the engine part and see how many amps come out in the generator part?
That was half motor half gen in one motor part was not powerful anuff as a motor cool stuff guys that's why I'm using 2 washing machine motors One wired for best as a motor and the other one as the perfect gen 😁👍🎉🌟 as regen brakes

72V. at what RPM, at what current? whats the ideal load? whats the dissipation in the windings at this power level? how many watts? how many watts electrical is produced for how many watts mechanical required to spin it? ie, whats the efficiency? this is all really easy to test... hint. go back to the very basics. the demonstration of lenz reactions, a magnet falling in a copper pipe. wheres the load? wheres the power, the current, the volts, the watts? wheres the work being done? WHAT is the work anyway? a generator is just that copper pipe with a slot in it and a resistor added. basically.
Hi hi yip that video was a while ago and was only made as a regen generator for the drift trike .I wish I had a rpm meter so I could tell you that speed .it was very slow turning because I was using a car window wiper DC motor to turn the washing machine motor but at 24volts
Hi once again yip the wire in the washing machine motor was stock I just changed the wiring diagram to 3x12 poles witch gave me 85volts at 30 amps at about 100rpm.i never tried to run anything else off it because it was at 85 volts from 2 phase and turned to DC by the bridge rectifier.😃👌🎉🦇 biggest thanks from cruzermans inventions 😁👍

Yip that simple washing machine motor generator was put on to a driff trike and all the tests were done to see if it was was even werth it as a regen battery charger and it turned out to be not werth it because I blow up the controler .but I still have the most definitely ways to rewire a washing machine motor to get different voltages out or rewiring as a motor 😁👍

Alloy wire for the gen and the motor I made for the drift trike is copper 1,,5 mm

The washing machine motors stock are 10 amps as a gen and if you rewired it in to two Half's the amps dubble but the volts are less 👍🙂

Yip iv done that before but the motor was not powerful anuff as a e bike motor but yip you would think it would work 🌟😃👌👍💕 just a little under powered
