Keep meaning to do this. When I get home.....
@@richardbradley1532 much appreciated 😁
Aidan saying "i've only done two climbs" after sending two 8B+ in a day...
😅 I mean he's not wrong...
One an FA 😂
It's like me sending two 7A and feeling completely gassed
Does he not count the 7C+ in the beginning? I guess he wouldn't@@WEDGECLIMBING
thats what a 6b warmup is to us@@madraven5915
"Sending Hard Boulders Ft. Aidan Roberts and Jim Pope"
is absolutely and exactly what my sub box is supposed to deliver to me 🔥
Happy to provide it 😁💪
@@WEDGECLIMBING yeah thanks for that! :D
I love how Aidan said "men cant multitask" and then stopped everything he was doing to watch Jim
😂
This crag is like an outdoor spray wall.😲
Look at those sick new Wedge shirts!👏👏
Coming soon 👀
Aidan is so ripped he looks like an anime character 😮
Aidan-san
10:40 that ladder has a bigger carbon footprint than Aidan, period. It’s been half way around the world that thing 🤣
😂
Aidan has some great upperbpdy strength but my god can we appreciate his ability to use his feet to take of weight from his fingers.
and his level of like micro-control, like watching him move on the wall is mesmerizing
Always a good day when we get to see these two trying hard 🙏
💪🏻
Dropless drop knees are the best 😅
"yea my knee just one of those cracks that happen" too relatable
Gaston LeGume might destroy your knee, elbow, shoulder nd fingers at the same time. What a combo. And how did he hold that swing?😮
5:43 that looks so disgusting and epic at the same time
Love the switching back and forth of camera angles and person climbing for the first problem!
Thanks Jack!
Was literally just seeing if there was a new video up, blessed
🙏 hope you enjoy!
The shoulder/elevator move is gnarly. What a great moment to be alive.
Naming the climb after a climb in the NRG, good tech
Two of my favorite things...Gastons and legumes
Another BANGER vid from the WEDGE team! Nailed it once again.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😁
Plato in his “Phaedrus” claims that a form of divine madness can be achieved by “looking at the bodies of young men”.
So I’m going with that. Plato. Perfectly fine.
😅
Lovely gentle yet powerful fun in the peaks. Appreciation for your country and rock and creativity I admire. I just watched the incredibly strong but what felt like dour and angry Drew Ruana in a landscape I may never touch or smell or feel, not in my opinion articulating well his love for where he was or even what he was exploring. I chose to watch it. I’m weak, this is not a comment about that. Just philosophical musings on how different humans approach and express themselves on and through rock; the blend of intrinsic and extrinsic, aesthetics, passion, fierce obsession, warrior rage, gentle leviathans on the outside. I guess I know I’d rather be chill after suffering similar rage in my early years. Vulnerable of Drew to put that out. Damn good videos on both. Jim chirpy as always! You guys having fun. Drew hundreds of fails. So a personal grade for him on that project? All such fascinating stuff! When Aidan takes that long maybe one day - or do you get the rage but not post it? Jim have you ever really lost your sh@t? Some random stranger asking dumb questions. Thank you for such exceptional content
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video. As is often the case with these guys, they do everything so quickly that there isn't too much room for rage. They definitely get frustrated, but are usually pretty good at letting go of it and taking away any positives from sessions that don't go their way.
Drew said the reason he posted that video was to show how a bad mental state can affect your climbing. The video was taken last summer and only uploaded now. He said that he had done a lot of reflecting about his rage outburst since then and is more relaxed about failure now.
Por ahi va!!!
So sick. As per usual, getting me psyched even after a set day!
Also: heck yeah the tees are out!!! 🥳🤩
Thanks Misha! Really pleased with how they came out, big thanks for the design work 😁🙏
@@WEDGECLIMBING my pleasure, thanks for the opportunity. They look dope!
Quality video as always! Psyched!!
Thanks Robert!
Dope boulders! 😁
I've just woken up and made a coffee and find out there is a new Wedge vid....yes!!
Enjoy 😁
Huge
Prime thuggery lads.
always a good day when wedge posts
Thanks 😁
this is the shit youtube was made for. fkn psyched
Glad you liked it!
High angle Gaston is Aidan new favorite move
His special attack 🥷
That finger muscle is insane
they should do the traverse, it looks nice
Discustingly strong
Here to check in on Aidan's rear double bicep/lat spread. Still on track for Olympia 👌
The question is... is he natty or not? 👀
A 13 minutes feast for the eye👌.
Nomnomnom 💪💪
Making limestone look good since 2023… 😂
😂
Crag approach details as a Patreon exclusive 😄
😂 it's in the new guide 👍
How long are these outdoor sessions usually?
This was probably around 3-4 hours 👍
Great video as ever. Credit to Jimmy Noble, not bad for a runner.
Cheers! Haha yeah that's for sure 💪
I want one of those wedge shirts.
Should be available soon 🤞
Mate have you got a shop up? that shirt looks pretty killer
In the final.stages of getting one setup. Glad you like it 😁
casually putting up a 14 in one session
Light work 💪💪
Did you use the 24mm 1.4 GM lens, or did you switch lenses for filming?
This was mainly on the sigma 24-70 👍
Shooowww ° Lolll
Do y'all have merch available anywhere?
Not yet, but it should be available soon 🤞
Hell yeah, psyched
Jim with the wedge merch? 👀
Should be coming soon 👀💪💪
Is it standard style over there to not top out?
It's pretty typical to not top out on most limestone crags in The Peak. The rock quality is often very poor and it helps to not damage the nature above the crag 👍
@@WEDGECLIMBING thanks for the reply! Every area is so different and it can be hard to understand from thousands of miles away!
yo where do i get the wedge climbing shirt???
All sold out for now, there will probably be a restock at some point 💪
@@WEDGECLIMBING is there a link to the store?
the only one i can find is a bad link
My grandfather taught me about geology there so I’m biased
Where to get Jims shirt 😮
A limited amount will be available soon 👍💪
😮
Unlike RAAC wedge is always solid
What crag is this?
The Wave, it's in the new peak bouldering guide 👍💪
@@WEDGECLIMBING thank you :)
