Hey Lizzy, I bought a mini cucumber plant from the garden centre this year; it was £1.99, I got loads off it, maybe 30-40 cucumbers, I’ve saved the seed so hopefully I can get a couple of plants for next year. Xxx
A little trick I've been doing, when I cook ramen noodles. I'll add more water than needed to cook the noodles, add the seasoning packet. Drain the extra seasoned water into container and then use it the next time I cook regular pasta. Not much of $ saving but saves seasoned broth from being poured into the drain. 😊
Hello Lizzie 👋 that cauliflower was a really good price for the size . Hope you and your son are keeping well and your dad ,sending you all love and prayers 🙏 God bless you.
Yes it's a bit of a pain in the bum, sometimes I only need to go into 1 and can get everything. I feel I'm really lucky because I have all these amazing shops around me 💕
Thank you Lizzy I think you got lots for your money it was nice to get out and about with you have a great week its raining now in the south after a mini heat wave all I thought about when it was warm I am saving on heating ..lol..xxx
The rain was that heavy in the night it woke me up and I thought the window was open, it was that loud!! 😂 My thoughts exactly, keep that heating off as long as possible. Thank you, hope you have a good week too 💕 xx
We hardky eat meat cant afford it. We have things like jacket potatoes, omelette, siup and bread or a toasted sandwich. You iught to look in Sainsbury's they have so many good deals As long as our tummies are full thats the main thing xx
Hi Lizzy you are correct! I tried it once, cutting all the skin and bones off thighs of chicken to see how much meat I had left - it worked out the same as buying the ready skinned and boned per kg!
Ramen noodle put noodles into bowl add seasoned put boiled water add meat spinach bean sprouts chill flakes cover for ten minutes will absorb the water add boiled egg easy drink the water as a soup hope this is of interest
They have a new offer every Thursday, so what I got last week will be different to this week. If you type in 'lidl pick of the week' in Google it will show you what's on offer and the dates too xxx💕
Lizzie, I love the sounds of the meals that you say that you plan to make...have you done previous videos about how you make them? i would love to know how you make cauliflower steaks in the air fryer...please can you do us some more cooking videos??? Thanks in advance Jan.x

Are there any local markets nearby that could do with the support who are struggling after the lockdown ? I’m sure local farmers markets (although pricey) could do with your support? A healthier option to support your self sufficient allotment
There used to be a couple, but they are redeveloping the area. So hopefully when they have finished they will come back. I have one in town that I go to that's amazing, but don't go into town very often at the moment 💕
Let's give each other tips for using less fuel when cooking! Here are my two starters: when boiling something - bring to the boil, boil for half the time, turn off and leave to stand until done. Use a steamer - you can cook 3 things at once on the same ring!
Some georgous veggies there 💚
Thank you 💕
