Straight up learning songs from RUclips isn't very good for learning techniques or developing. Learn some basic chords and general picking skills. It will make following videos like this much easier in the future! :)
This guy has been a huge influence on my lead playing. I find myself using alot of the licks he does. I especially love his 1 1/2 step bends haha (that would like bending from the 12th fret to the 15th)

elliott nunez I use Ernie super 2723 for my G/B/E strings (9/11/16) and 2720 for my E/A/D strings (48/38/28). They are pretty good at Db Drop Eb, or Drop D. Haven't tuned to B standard. Ill give it a go, may need to go bigger up top.
I play a lot in B standard and a good string set is by daddario which the gauges are 14-68. If you were going to put it on a regular scale guitar you would have to do some adjustments but I have a PRS Baritone and they work just fine on it. I could be mistaken but I think it's EXL 157 by daddario.
KJBruneau yeah i usually use 008 or .009...Not at all good for tuning in B standard lol....went to 11s on my les paul and the sound is deep and full and i can stretch the g string right off the neck literally...lol sounds pretty wild popping on and off the neck...wont do it too much though fo fear the string will break but pretty cool effect !!!

Went to high school with Jason. Him and I, for a time, were quite tight. He was exceptional THEN. Very talented. His original influences/heroes are Led Zeppelin, KISS, Van Halen (BIG fan), Ratt, Deep Purple, etc. His hair was up to here back then ('80s/early '90s) and big. Some day I'd like to reconnect with him. Glad he's still making music his career. The best to him.

I think it's a very good lesson. . And I agree, buy a book and learn some chords. Shot the have chord charts @ Wal-Mart for like 4$ .

There is no such thing as drop B standard. They use B standard tuning: B, E, A, D F#, B. I dont get why this is so hard to comprehend for everyone.
