I’ve moved in to a new home that has one of these thermostats , it seems fine but the heating turns down to 7 degrees in the middle of the night so I wake up cold and have to turn it back up every night , we have no instructions or paperwork to aid set up , is there a full set up video that will guide me ?

Can the thermostat be wired?
I’m not happy with the battery performance, using it in a second home where the heating is not always on. The cold affects the performance of the batteries, will be testing the lithium batteries… but I’ll love to have a wired option

Your doc is most confusing, there are 2 manuals for two different configurations, and the front label doesn't help identifying which does what. 1st configuration (which is a bit weird, the "relay" serves no purpose) allows a fixed thermostat, 2nd allows a mobile thermostat. Next time, put a simple diagram in each manual to show the configuration. The first manual is supposedly a replacement of a wire thermostat, but this can actually be done with the 2nd configuration (which allows the new thermostat to be mobile).

I’d really like to see a video on the Netatmo smart modulating thermostat being fitted to an S plan system with an OpenTherm-capable boiler to achieve a hot water priority system and get the maximum fuel saving capability of such a boiler. Can this modulating thermostat actually apply OT to rapidly heat hot water to 60Celsius? There seems to be little information on the modulating thermostat, so is it all marketing hype?

And from what I can see from the installation instructions there are only four wires from the relay to the boiler- 2 for power and 2 for OpenTherm modulation, so how the heck can the boiler output feed be switched between CH and HW??

Compré un kit de termostato y 3 válvulas en Noviembre del 2021, ha estado funcionando bien los meses de invierno. Primavera y verano sin uso, evidentemente. Y en septiembre me doy cuenta que la pantalla del termostato (que está fijo en la pared) no se vé nada y le han salido manchas, además una válvula ha empezado a fallar dando error de batería cuando las pilas están nuevas. El producto tiene garantía de 2 años. Para ponerme en contacto con el servicio postventa ha sido una odisea porque solo atienden vía email y en la página lo tienen bien escondido. Después de varios emails insistiendo me contesta una persona del servicio técnico y me dice que tengo que pagar yo el envío del producto a Francia a sus talleres y me lo reparan gratis, no teniendo ni un año el producto y estando en garantía. Y para la válvula que haga unas 12 pruebas desmontando la válvula y hasta el pistón del radiador, y que si aún así sigue dando fallo le mande foto a foto todas las comprobaciones que he hecho y ya buscarán una solución. INSISTO, NO TIENE NI UN AÑO Y USADO SOLO EN INVIERNO. Jamás volveré a comprar nada de la marca NETATMO!!!!!
