well, the game said that she's the only MOTHER fox alive, so that might mean there are still other male foxes out there her cubs could mate with. other than that, sometimes inbreeding is the only option for a species to survive though it's not good for the genetics.
@@Lucy-ue3yenot for long. Inbreeding has many horrible effects and over the generations they’ll get more and more messed up until they’re literally incapable of reproducing/living long enough to reproduce
I could barely sustain 3 cubs. One died and I made it to the end with two. The kidnapped one was a dud LMAO he can take his curious azz somewhere else😆

This game is beatiful yet so depressing.
Saddest part is it really doesn’t matter, the cubs can’t mate with each other. Even though they’ve survived, it’s over. 💔💔

Siblings can mate with each other. Many species have survived that way. It's obviously not the best option though.

Letting one of the cubs die because of not fed was a BIG mistake on player part..

Endling is a sad game, but it does show some inner beauties.
it's sad to see that while the foxes stayed in the forest the trees started being cut down more and more.
the ending made me cry 😭 all the things the mama fox did for her kits, and the kits are probably gonna die of hunger 😭
