Unfortunately, this can be the case because now it’s a high travel season. If your trip is more than two weeks, your other option is to expedite it through USPS and hope for it to come back on time. I’m sorry to hear that you can’t get an appointment. Hope something opens up soon.
Yeah I'll keep trying but I put it in expedited with USPS back in mid Feb so we're talking over 2 months already. Today makes 9 weeks exactly since they received it. It's wild
Hello. Can you tell me how long were you inside for the application process? For example, I have an appointment at 8:30, but have to be at work 9am. Is that enough time?? It would be no problem picking it up later on in the afternoon, but trying to make it to work on time
Usually they don’t allow you in there more than ten minutes before your appointment due to COVID. However, if you have all your documents and the que is short, 30 minutes is enough. However, I would plan for at least one hour.
Philadelphia was the closest that I could get from NC. Initially, Buffalo was the closest I could get, but I kept calling daily to see if any openings were available closer.
@@ThePanzoAdventures yikes 😬 the person I spoke to at the post office made it seem like it’s easy to get an appointment close to where you live. Glad you made the trip!
If you already have an old passport, then you don’t need to bring your naturalization certificate. However, be advised that in some cases they may need it if you lost your passport.
I can only speak for the Philadelphia location. They only let you in the building no more than 10 minutes before your appointment time and the time spent inside was like 5 minutes. Then you come back to pick up at the time shown on your receipt.
Been calling everyday for the past 2 weeks to get an appointment and they say there are none in the entire country

I also plan on going at least 15-20 mins early just to get the ball rolling

Team Naturalization!
Did you get an appointment close to where you live? My husband and I both need one, hoping the appointment is the same day and location 🤞🏼

Can I just bring my passport and ss card and my id/driver license. I don’t have my naturalization doc.

You can also pay an extra 150 if you cannot find your passport for a file search. This assumes you have a passport.
@@michaelhorgan9525 not I had my passport. I actually included my passport experience in my last vlog video. I did same day passport.
@@michaelhorgan9525 thanks for that information Michael!
Do they actually honor your appointment time? Like do you actually get seen around the time or will it be hours after your appointment?

Yoo my man great video. I just printed out my forms and filed them in manually. That’s fine right?
You can manually print on the form. It shouldn’t be a problem. Just be sure to have all the information printed correctly without errors.
Hey are you having a hard time
Making the appointment ?
It’s not hard. You just have to have a flight confirmation number to book the appointment.
@@ThePanzoAdventures really !!!! Wow I’m so scared I don’t get an appointment but I REALLY REALLY need it you know ?
@@ThePanzoAdventures how close to your flight did they schedule your appointment?
@@Gi_experience exactly two weeks out.
