Didn't they work on Legends A-Z based on Zygarde from X and Y before X and Y remakes? Sure, they made Legends Arceus around Pearl and Diamond remakes, but it's not tradition to make Legends games around the time remakes are released. So we'll have to wait and see after Legends A-Z.
if we were to get a legends game they'd probably introduce the original dragon that kyurem zekrom and reshiram split from and have something else as the box legend like keldeo or victini or sum

The leak only confirmed up to gen 10 which is releasing in 2026. We could possibly get gen 5 remakes or legends unova game in 2027 or 2028
