Your doin great man , your gettin the front pop bang on. Dont keep your back vertical, allow yourself to rotate back a few degrees and keep your head up! I tilt my head back a little so im looking down the road by looking down my nose. I only learned this year too and these little pointers i got from a kid made it all come together. As soon as i forget to do these i start failing again.. cant wait to see your nxt vid!
big improvement from day 1-7. Just keep going and don't give up. It doesn't matter if it takes you months. Keep going and it will come (I can't wheelie either! but i also couldn't jump!) Practice, practice, practice. Good effort mate
You did well mate, given you only tried for ten minutes a day. Wheelies are one of those things; some people are naturals (usually scratty kids on cheap bikes who seem to be able to do it forever) and others aren't. Good on you for giving it a go mate, keep at it and all the skills you are practicing as they all pay off with trail riding, etc. Bunny hops should be one you consider as they are such a useful skill to have.
A lot of people are scared of going over the back so their weight is too far forward. You can get over the fear by tying a big cushion to your back. If you go over the back badly then you’ll land on that.
Decent progression there bud, your just missing the balance point and controlling it with the brake, try deliberately going to far so you come off the back of the bike, this Will help you find the balance point much better ok then its just a matter of keeping it there. Totally easy😆😆
What should I try next? Endos, bunny hops, manuals??
bunny hops!
Endos nxt mate and manuals must come before bunnyhops. You dont have to hold a manual to bunnyhop but you gotta have the basic lift and float 👍
@@markhelyard6664 yea i thought manuals might be before hops. might do endos then!
Manual next before hops.

thanks Mark, yea i've been following your jump progression!! your really getting the hang of it now!!
That was great, your massively downplaying your progress, there is big difference at the end. Well done!
yea, i never stuck with it though, maybe i'll try again this summer!!
Hell Gordon , it takes me all my time just to stop upright ,you'll crack it if you keep at it!
haha, me too usually, just goes to show what a little practice can do.
Hey you did well mate you now have a decent basic foundation to build upon. You definitely improved over that 70mins. Keep it up.
cheers steve, yea i defo feel like i'm getting close to it clicking! hopefully get it soon!
Well done, you are better than me, remember to keep safe & wear a helmet when you are learning new skills
thanks, yea i always wear my helmet when out riding properly. i suppose i should be using it when i'm just messing about outside too.
Can definitely see progress there mate. Keep it up pal.😁🤙🤙🤙
yea a little, probably need another 5 hours or so to get good at them! 👍

Might try ratchet strapping a mattress on lol that ought to do it😀
I can't wheelie for toffee but find it much easier practicing on grass! Think it's just because I'm less scared of falling off!
i would use grass if i had a big enough place available. defo feel better trying manual on grass!!!
@@DownhillDesireMTB I can't do them either 😂
@@fatdadonamountainbike9987 nor can i, not even close lol
How has this video only got 600 view??
Cos youtube hates me lol

yea it's such a fine line, nowt easy in this game lol
@@DownhillDesireMTB unless you have my mad skills🤣🤣
@@dirtcheapdownhill2848 nope i've only got bad skills 😆
think you need to build up some strength... front wheel not off the ground enough?
nothing to do with strength, i can flip the bike with ease with little effort! finding the balance not so easy!! lol
