There really need to be better tutorials and starter content in the game. I'm here looking through RUclips videos just to figure out how to play the DLC lol
It would be so cool to have a plane land on an aircraft carrier then be able to pull out bombs ammunitions on the weapons elevator and just bring it up and restock the aircraft that would be so cool epic can’t believe this is about to happen
You might wanna make sure to have welders on the battleships. I mean, a fire extinguisher is also handy, but welders have priority since you rarely catch fire from rounds (tho it'd be kinda cool to have high-explosive/incendiary ammo set fire to vehicles or something I guess).
@@Hay_Bale Yeah I think I wrote that without having any idea on what type of ammo there is in the game... Incendiary is crazy though. Give it time and it'll eat up the whole vehicle. Wish they added actual human enemy ai to run the ships n stuff n like extinguish fires or shoot you with handheld weapons n be killable n stuff tho... But like, I think there also needs to be a line of sight effect added for the AI so that they don't see you behind cover or if you're quietly sneaking up behind them. Would be a bit to code tho for sure, so I don't see it being added in the near future.

Current forces are set as a Rifle Company with a total of 88 men supported by a Four Tank Platoon of M4A3 (Late) model Sherman Tanks, and a Naval Group with 2 Allen M. Sumner-class Destroyers and 2 Fletcher-class Destroyers in their 1944/1945 Anti-Kamikaze Program Configuration and either the Atlanta-class Light Anti-Aircraft Cruiser USS San Diego (CL-53), the Cleveland-class Light Cruiser USS Vincennes (CL-64) or the Baltimore-class Heavy Cruiser, the lead ship herself, USS Baltimore (CA-68). The naval group is to stand off the coast about 17,000 yards and provide a Naval Bombardment and Fire Support for the Troops on the run in as well as Anti-Aircraft Protection from any Airborne threats the AI may send their way! Question: is it possible with the Weapons DLC to make a Depth Charge by using the small warhead and a keypad for the depth at which it will detonate the warhead?
I'm now imagining a submarine full of drones you could use to conduct hit & fun attacks on these islands before landing on and capturing the island with a dingy.
Great job devs done! It was so dynamic, would like to see more videos like that, or even something like survival series's but where you just fighting AI!
Meh the autocannon ammo count is fine. I've already engineered a really nice solution to the problem using a drum on a turret and a "casette" of drums and the ammo connectors. If you wanted to recreate the system it works as follows: So when the drum in the turret is empty the turret controls are taken away and it automatically slews into "reloading position". When the rotors tell the cassette that the gun is in the right position, the casette then moves up to the ammo connector on the turret and feeds ammo into the turret drum. After a set timer of a few seconds to account for the turret having to reset a large amount, the cassette then drops back and the turret controls are reactivated. I've managed to make an attack helicopter that has a dual feed autocannon on the chin that's lightweight so it has great angles, but it also has a huge amount of ammo with the tradeoff being a 4 second reload when the drum is empty. It's very satisfying to watch 2 guns brrt themselves crazy then stop, pivot, reload and then slew back onto target.
the weapons and conquest system look great but the armour system seems like it could be better imo. being able to kill any unarmoured target with a machine gun seems quite broken. Also autocannons are definately gonna be OP since they are able to penetate armour, kinda making tank cannons almost obsolete. hopefully we get some more types of armour in the future.
@@rexgreyback4778 that's also true, people are gonna have to use multiple layers of blocks to conceal the armour which is gonna make creating smaller armoured vehicles much harder

make a ship with missile system like a VLS or rail system for anti ship and anti air missile with complex fire control system and new radar, maybe guided bombs or even Air to Ground Missile
i wonder how easy it is to rig the guns to automatically fire on radar contacts when a safety switch is turned off, of course, then you need to account for range/elevation, projectile drop, your speed, their speed, your heading, their heading, etc etc
Someone did it, its on the workshop Its one if the "patrol boats" im not sure what it's called off the top of my head. But it has dual missiles on the backside and one main turret gun on the front.
I've been trying to figure out since the release earlier how to build a camera that zooms and has an overlay just like yours in this video. I can't find much online in terms of help, would it be possible to get a tutorial on weapons systems?
As for zooming he's using FOV on the 3 block long camera. The overlay is done in LUA by turning certain pixels green. There are plenty of RUclips tutorials for this. Hope this helps!
I am in school untill 7pm for band (11:30 as I write this) so I loaded my card into steam and left my computer on, so I can buy it from my phone at school, and it will download on my computer
5:15 I dont like that your rounds are going everywhere that does not look realistic unless there is a setting to change that also it would be great if the engagements happened at longer ranges because realistically you would no be able to see the enemy unless you had radar and that means that the engagement would have happened with missiles, not cannons
@@smoog2327 if you can't hit your target then what's the point of aiming? That renders the weapon useless. Also these days most of the time you don't see the enemy you have radar for that.
@@giorgigiorgi8375 If your BVR fight gets a but too spicy you could end up merging with your bandit and at that point you would be in a dogfight and be able to see him.
very nice DLC but there should be thing where you can have AI control aircraft and order it to go attack this and that. sort of like carrier command, because there no way a player can hop from one place to other without losing some island and ships.

Hope the AI enemy vehicles are configurable. Would be fun to do WW1/WW2 style ships.

They need to give the auto cannons more ammo and give larger ammo box sizes for the machine gun. Also improve the accuracy of the auto cannons
Meh the autocannon ammo count is fine. I've already engineered a really nice solution to the problem using a drum on a turret and a "casette" of drums and the ammo connectors.
If you wanted to recreate the system it works as follows:
