Flying Circus - Volume I

Flying Circus includes ten legendary WWI combat aircraft that you can fly alone or with friends in single-player or multiplayer scenarios. Flying Circus also comes with a map of the Arras sector of the Western Front in WWI.
IL-2 Sturmovik: Flying Circus - Volume I is part of the IL-2 Great Battles series of products and can be played as a separate stand-alone product or be integrated with other Great Battles titles such as Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of Moscow, Battle of Kuban and Battle of Bodenplatte. Combine all titles to create one big WWI and WWII air and ground combat simulation.

Rise of Flight , seaplane action, or German side on Flying Cicurs, using maybe a Halbie or Albatross, great vlog today Taff.
I prefer Rise of Flight but this is entertaining too, do whatever you feel dude, they'll probably turn out better if its something you fancy doing anyway.
I'd like to see you do WW1 bombers. Or some 1917-1918 rise of flight German stuff.

Back to Rise of Flight please Taff. In a way I'm glad this series is over. Isn't there a campaign on ROF with the Sopwith Triplane? Would love to see that.
I reckon it might be a bit boring, but what about a JU-52, see how long you can survive in an out dated aircraft while dropping off paratroopers and cargo? 🤷♂️

Hey Taff, maybe you can try a campaign in IL2 FC with the PWCG thingie. I used it for RoF and it was quite fun. It should also be available for Flying Circus.

How about a career with something like Pat Wilson's dynamic campaign generator? Surely something like that exist for the WW1 games too?
Indeed it does! It wanted to direct me through a very thick cloud layer on one mission though which was VERY difficult considering the lack of instruments.
Go back to RoF for awhile. Until career mode comes out for flying Circus 2, there is not much left to try on Flying Circus 1 for now.

In here, it would be nice if we could figure out the bombing. I believe our stick was the first stick to hit we saw and the second stick, by your wing man, got at least one contact hit on the bridge. Plus, we could, perhaps, become better at our deflection shooting. I'm not amused with wingmen men who aren't wingmen, but are lending their support individually, no matter if they have to hit us or not - but, I honestly can't say if that was par for the course back then.
Apart from the obviously poor damage model, I think FC looks great, for instance, the rain effects, the map, the aircraft...all gorgeous. Hopefully the developers can fix the damage model soon. How about a Central Powers Flying boat career? If that 's possible, it would be fun!

You should do an American Bomber Career! Like a B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator, or a B-25 Mitchell!

I would prefer getting back to RoF. It seems a bit more realistic somehow. I guess I just cannot get over the pilots parachuting out of their scouts. Liking the WW1-action, though, and always - if possible - rather like to keep one's head in the clouds than one's boots in the mud. But that's just me. :)

German pilots in the final months of the war actually had parachutes.

Maybe try a career in the Sopwith Dolphin and see how you manage there, the Dolphin was the successor of the Camel and has better viability for the pilot.
