Hey pal. Nice set up. I really like the way you put the shifter peg on for your foot to rest on. Smart ! I've often wondered how to convert mine with somewhere to rest my heal. BTW, it's Mr 51 Panhead from Lucia. If you guys ever want to help out a charity case and help me button up my Pan let me know. Thanks friend.
I had one. At the time I had forward controls and the pedal pulled a cable (it wasn't a pushrod/linkage). I had a bracket that was bolted to the front of the primary that the cable ran through. Worked great. That bracket was produced by another fabricator.
Couldn't this just be used as a standard shifter, too? Just connect the linkage from the ratchet top to the pivot point? Thanks for making cool shit, fellas🤘
Seems ridiculous how far you have to lift your foot( 6to8 inches ) up and forward to actuate clutch. The early friction rocker worked because you were sitting higher up and further forward where the foot angle was much better to push ownwards to actuate clutch. Drop the seat to frame and way further back and the angle becomes difficult. Not to mention hooking your boot on that stubby peg .Like the stock brake set up on early FLH where you have to lift your foot backwards then up and then forwards to activate brake.Nothing ergonomic about HD antiquated system. Look at any modern bike Both pedals and hand lever to perform those functions move less than 2.5 inches.
Yeah, it looks cool but the Harley Style Rocker clutch is the only way to go if you actually ride the motorcycle everyday. I've been riding on the street since 1970 and I am still riding a 1949 EL Panhead with the stock setup. Yeah I'm an old guy and I built my bike and I can still kick that bitch over no problem. Sure your kit looks cool like the original Lee foot clutch or the Speedy shift from the 50s but it sucks for taking off from a light. The advantage of the rocker clutch is you is you push down to engage the clutch and it'll hold it with the spring if you have to put your left foot down suddenly.
I would have never known to open the box and package, I am so glad you told me that. Thank you so much.
Perfect!! My set just showed up today!!! Thanx!!! 🏍🤙🍻

He's a natural.
When will the clutch cable and bracket be available for evo 5 speed trans? I like the setup that you guys did on that pink chop.👍🏽
They're not very responsive are they? 27 comments and they don't have time to answer questions..

Great overview video
Clean set ,looks to work like a charm 💪🏻
Very clean, nice job!!!
really nice bike!
Also , a nice theft detterant ... 😎
What's the point of a foot clutch that doesn't lock disengaged? Hope and pray you found neutral before stopping on inclines?
Just gotta get good
Get better at riding.. I use this foot clutch all over the hills of SF no front brake no problems.
I never read any comments from anyone that this setup without a front brake didn’t work out well for them.
do yall make a linkage kit that works with a cowpie transmission?
Could you make one without the holes for the kickstand? I want to use one of these on a Cone Shovel trike.
Is there a foot clutch hand shift kit out there that allows you to keep your electric starter?

Good job..
If I walked into a shop and the guy was dressed as if he were a model for a hipster magazine shoot...I'd be gone. Lol!
You prefer leather daddies overcharging you for oil changes.
@@BlackMountainCycles I prefer doing my own work unless it needs special tools that the shop has.
Sick, I hope you make one for Evo sporty's.
Me too.
Does this set up work on a 2017 Dyna 6 speed ?
Do you guys have any thing for newer sportsters cause I was wanting to covert my bike to a jockey shift and I would love to order from you guys
Same same same!
Surprised they don't considering how popular they are in the modified bike scene.
Slick
Heck ya 👌🖖😸
Do you make any for hondas
nice
What kind of frame is this?

why. didnt you polish it....pedal. should be bgger and have tread.
Red locktite and t handles. 😂
If your watching this to see how to install this you shouldn't be wrenching on your bike. Or anyone else's bike.
No such thing as a sling shot clutch. Its a foot clutch.
Sling Shot Clutch is the product name.
