It is a 56MM lens, however because it’s DX it’s equivalent to an about an 85mm FX lens, regardless if it’s used on an FX or DX body. If that makes sense. And because I’m using it on an FX body I’m sacrificing resolution. If you use it on a Z30 body you will get 100% resolution because the sensor is also DX.

I don't understand one thing. Is this lens 56mm on FX body or DX body? How would it be on my DX Nikon Z30? 85mm or 56mm? Thanks for info!
