I’m a chemistry major and I was wondering how you would rate the job market for chem majors? Or what got you interested in chemistry? And thank you so much you’ve been helping me out a lot this semester 🙏

Hey Bob, I'm not too familiar with the current job market scene since I am self-employed. I do know that if you are interested in working in a lab, having as much research experience is crucial to getting hired. You can get research experience by finding internships at local labs or schools, or asking your professors if you could join their research team. I did both, I interned at UCLA for a while in a lab then once I was in my University, I asked one of my favorite professors if I could join his research team and he said yes. Look for major chemistry labs and see if they have any internships or ask the chemistry department and see what they offer at your school. I also know that the higher your degree is the higher paying job you will get in lab or in the Chemistry field. I personally started off as a Chemistry major because I had plans to get into dental school after, but I later decided teaching on RUclips was my calling.

i wish you could make videos on chem 2 stuff, like on kinetics for example. I don't have specific questions on the topic, but just need an overview and maybe some examples.
