Let's Play Final Fantasy | Episode 2: Standard Hero Quest

In this episode, I cover the first task of the game in rescuing Princess Sara from within the Temple of Fiends. The first run was to get the open rooms for the first treasures of the game, which required a backtrack before taking Garland on to get Sara back.

I have to admit, I laughed when, after spending all that time bashing on the IMPS for being basic monsters, one of them criticals Teol for 13 damage, as if to shout "How dare you insult my kind! Take my full power!"
I once did a run where I beat Garland, and then immediately turned and left without talking to the princess. I can only imagine how she felt as her heroes turned and walked out, leavin here there alone with a bunch of bats. I think I waited a good 30 minutes before I went back for her too. She had to be there trying to decide if she risks trying to walk home with all the random monsters wandering around.
