Wow. I've never heard of this one or seen it. Interesting. I always liked RPGs. Although now I'm old. But one thing I like about these really old games is that you can let kids play them without having to worry if they'll see porn or things they shouldn't see that are in newer games.

I remember playing this as a kid. And it was the first real game I ever played for Nintendo. Thanks for covering it. My only complaint was that I wished the game were longer and bigger map.

The re-arranging of your party when you get status aiments, especialy with how common poison is, is absolutely infurating in this version. I was so tried of constantly having to re-order the party every time I got poisoned.

Teol takes out the last pirate. He summoned his inner Ogre slaying prowress to take down the pirate. "This is payback for criticaling me! You are already dead!" So, I have an explanation for the sharks appearing on your ship. They were the original Sharknadoes. Passing tornado plucked sharks out of the sea, a rare natural phenomina. The shark just happens to land on your deck as you passed. So the shark does what any confused and disoriented sea creature would do after being involuntarily proped through the stratosphere. It picks a fight to the death. The unique way upon which FF1 sharks board your boat would decades later inspire a series of cheesy movies. You said after this there's only 1 frustrating part of the game. I know EXACTLY which part you are talking about! And it involves Ice! If your next episode or 2 are going to be "grinding" episodes, you might consider pushing up the message rate so you can get through it faster.

Teol, the MVP of Ogre battles. Teol stares down that ogre, and says "You are already dead". Swings his humble knife for 1 damage, and slays the foe more than twice his size Ogres cower at his unexplainable power. A mage who's butter knife fells the most powerful of foes. A true champion of combat.

You are certainly brave to play this game. At least the party doesn't do as much infighting as they do in the remake.

I have to admit, I laughed when, after spending all that time bashing on the IMPS for being basic monsters, one of them criticals Teol for 13 damage, as if to shout "How dare you insult my kind! Take my full power!" I once did a run where I beat Garland, and then immediately turned and left without talking to the princess. I can only imagine how she felt as her heroes turned and walked out, leavin here there alone with a bunch of bats. I think I waited a good 30 minutes before I went back for her too. She had to be there trying to decide if she risks trying to walk home with all the random monsters wandering around.

Hey, I know this game! I was hoping you would interact with the fountain, and then pretend to be angry when the game critisized your supposedly dirty face. Like, the adventure just started! How is our face already apparently a mess? Next episode, Garland knocks everyone down!

She didn't fall asleep. She was having a blast with the story. I've not played much of Paper Mario but I saw you are equipping badges! The new Super Mario Wonder also had a badge system, which I'm assuming originated from this game. It's kind of cool to see the badges make their way to a 2D game for the first time. When I saw there was a grappling hook badge, I of course immediately equipped it! The partner system in this game is interesting. The party works a lot different from what I was used to in Super Mario RPG. Your paraty members don't just help you fight, but are a means of traversal too. It's an interesting mechanic. I just may have to try out more of the Mario Paper games. I just haven't kept up with that variant of the Mario games. I could feel the anger when the yellow magikoopa appeared. You were most definitely NOT happy to see him!

Bravo, and congratulations on reaching that milestone. Starting a RUclips channel is one thing, but maintaining it & tending to its improvement is quite the involved amount of (benevolent) work. I appreciate that you were able to look back at the early videos, even the painful ones, and share with us a condensed review of the journey you started 1000 videos ago up to where you are now. Being a foreigner with a very busy offline life, I somewhat "dream" of having the same dedication and "guts" to be able to speak with regularity in front of a mic (and an audience) for a bunch of strangers to react to. I have yet to watch some of your past Let's Play series, but I also wish you all the best for your future endeavours in the (complex & sometimes treacherous) world of RUclips. Before anything is said, I wanna make it clear that this isn't intended for drama. I'm not that kind of individual. This is the result of so many efforts being struck down before ever truly taking off. As I was making this, the situation got rapidly worse; I had to wait until there was a usable hotspot before I could even post this video and comment. Now there's a lot of questions I gotta answer for myself. Do I even bother continuing with Minecraft? What about all the things I had planned for this month, now held up? It's gonna be tough getting through this mess, as I'll be completely offline for a while. If you wanna follow any updates, watch my Community page. If you beat Bowser in the first fight the game softlocks, but doesnt crash. You're still forced to restart though
