Hi 👋🏻 how exactly do you measure to get personal measurements?
Thank you so much! Love this sweater and tutorial!

Thank you!! Right, to measure (wow how did I miss this) I measured from my shoulder to where I wanted the sweater to sit at my natural waist. For me this was about 15” or 82 chains. For the width I worked rows until I covered half my front (about 9.5” for a loose fit). I doubled that number for the back. I hope this helps but let me know, I may need to put together a quick video on how to take personal measurements.

There are two versions that use different amounts. 200 grams of cotton sport weight is one and the other is 140 grams of acrylic sport weight. I’ve got all the details on my blog 😊

It's a very pretty crochet piece... but your tutorial is not clear from the beginning on which part you are working on to get your measurements. It's very confusing when you don't know where to start and how to base your own measurements. 😊

Thank you for the feedback! I'll make sure to make the measurements more clear in my next video 😊 I also explain and share my measurements in the blog post as this is a made to measure garment.
