@@GilGamesHello when you are maxed out, I think you can only select two shield upgrades, so it can be used for converting your character into a shield character
You mentioned that Fend can interfere with Feints, which makes sense. Do you think it is better to have only 1 of the skills slotted at a time for this reason?
98% of the time, you'll want both. There are some specific tricks like hitting with a shield or wrestling moves that want to chain Feints but the rest of the time, you'll be glad to have blocked.
Blocking is automatic, so most of this is easy to pull of. Other fancy stuff is advanced stuff, you don't need to be able to it to have success. If anything, this just goes to show how well thought the mechanics of the game are, so this is a very weird gripe to have after a video like this. Most would probably feel the opposite way.

You can also take dual wield off after equipping two weapons and there will be no difference. Also dual wield doesn't work with torches
